It took me awhile to figure out what to rate this. I liked it a lot, not loved. But the female rage in this book was amazing. And that final twist really got me. It did get slow and repetitive in some parts though. 

So dark and creepy, but so slow. And maybe they explained it, but I don't understand how the characters are connected? Maybe I missed it. But if it was mentioned, I needed more because it felt random and odd.

Really fun and informative. The subject matter isn't my cup of tea, but still presented in an interesting way.

Jaw on the floor. The way I'm obsessed with her writing! Dear lord! While the book got a bit slow for me. Can N.K. Jemisin write my life?

So interesting and I learned so much. I was a bit uncomfortable with how he presented some info and some of the jokes though 

This was just so cute and so sweet. A great palate cleanser.

Really liked the plot but there were too many PoVs that weren't distinct. They bleed into one another. I really liked 1 of the characters and wish it just stuck with her. I really like that final twist and I'm actually into the rest of the series. 

I loved this book and plot, but it felt long. I wish some scenes were cut. If it was just a bit shorter, it think it would've been perfect. 

I really liked the premise, but it's just WAY too long. So much should've been cut out, probably 100 pages. Was really hating the ending until the final twist, which I liked.
