Good concept but there were a lot of misses for me. The fact his first reaction to her was "mine" gave me the ick. Plus aspects of the end upset me. Still, it was a fun read. Just flawed.

I recognize the criticism of this book, but I also feel like this is a good stepping stone for people to learn about racism. 

The premise was interesting, but I just didnt vibe with the main character. Plus, when she said Gesundheit when her boyfriend spoke Hawaiian, it just rubbed me the wrong way. The mystery was interesting, though. I'm interested to see how the 2nd book it.

Wow. Just phenomenal. This was a story that needed to be told. And it was told so well. Amazing. I'm just speechless. I loved this book.

Another fantastic book! The relationships just get me every time. Dang, I'm a sucker for found family. I wish we got a conclusion for the original scam. But I'm being bias and I dont care.

This was wonderful! A great mystery and even better characters. One twist I wasnt the biggest fan of, but it didnt ruin my enjoyment. I'm in on this series. 

I love this series, but the levels are getting too complicated. I don't care about the level, I care about the story. I wish more time was put into the story and not trying to explain the level.

Wow! Loved this. The characters felt so real. I just wish more of the book was them trying to find their way back together. But I see it now. I see why everyone love these books.

Everything about this book was amazing.  I was so enthralled the whole time. But the ending felt a little lackluster for me. I can't say what I wanted because I'm not even sure, but it felt like there should've been more.

Welp, that was a big bore. I'm sure this book will be right up other's alleys, but this certainly wasn't mine. It felt like there was 100 pages of buildup to a scene that was a paragraph long. Nothing felt worth it.
