I'm unpopular opinion here. But I hated the characters. They were so unlikeable. Especially the bride-to-be. Then this depression plot point? It was a complete miss for me. As someone with depression and S.I, I felt this representation was poor. It was cookie cutter, with no depth. Nothing special about it at all. Like there was no research done into real depression, just what we see on TV. This is a massive disappointment.

This is exactly what I look for in a romance. And the plot had me hooked right away. You really care about these characters and root for them. Amazing read.

I definitely had fun with this book, but I can't say this is standout. It was a fun read. The romance was cute. Just a fun read and nothing more.

I'm still loving this series but it needs to be shorter. Too much is happening in each book. I feel like this series would be far more successful with shorter book, giving the readers more time to absorb what's happening. It's fun, and I still love it. But it's a lot.

I was so bored. Plus, these weren't tied to post-war things as much as I wanted. It felt like just random stories. Sure, some had ties to war, but they weren't deep or meaningful. I'm so disappointed.

Back with the pacing issues. And the mystery wasn't really for me. It felt all over the place. I really liked the ending, but everything else was too much. 

This was so creepy and gross. Sure, it has a lot of gore, but even the writing style has this creepiness to it. It made me uncomfortable, in a good way. Then it had such a powerful message? This is why she's an auto- read author for me. 

Amazing mystery, amazing characters, amazing story. I felt so insanely moved by this book. The message is so strong and beautiful. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat.

A very great overview of everything, but nothing was really dug into. Every subject was lightly touched on, which is a great stepping stone for people wanting to learn.
