The Gallery Assistant is a thriller novel following Chloe as she deals with her PTSD following 9/11 and the uncovering of a massive web of lies in the art world beginning with the death of a well-known artist. Chloe was the last person to see the artist alive, but she has no memory of the night leading up to the murder.

This book started out slow but once we started getting into the conspiracy it went so fast. I enjoyed the aspect of not knowing what is real and what isn't since Chloe is a very unreliable narrator. I would recommend this to those who enjoy fast-paced mysteries. 4.5/5 stars.

oh my god, the connections, the seemingly unrelated pov's that are actually so intertwined. brando sanderson has done it again.

my only gripe is that the book is so fucking long and is very slow worldbuilding for 75% of the book. other cosmere books i've read have more climaxes througout the book to keep your attention. i fear this book is like this bc it's the first of a very hefty series
