so the cliffhanger is fine but the plot has chasms not holes

i need to stop reading books without reading the synopsis. this confused me the whole time

i was waiting the whole book for patricia to divorce carter's ass. this was not what i was expecting when i picked it up. definitely uncomfortable to read at times but overall a decent book
