Wild ride. Read it in one go. Impossible to put this book down. Very neat ending but it worked.

“make Melnibone great again”
A bit of a letdown.

More boring than I thought. Weird leaps of logic. Not at all scary.

I got nothing. Neither does this book. Felt like my time wasted.

Underwhelming resolution

The last chapter and epilogue kind of soured me on the book a bit. It was a rather far-fetched stretch in terms of believability. The revelation right before at least was somewhat doable. Overall it was a nice investigation of a mystery.

I did not expect it to be as fun as it was. The ending was a little bit too neat but it was still a quick and enjoyable read with a bit of mystery. The reason for everything that happened didn't quite work for me but at least it was an interesting idea.

Meh. Started out OK. Got very melodramatic and disappointing by the end. Too sappy, cloying. What a let-down!

Didn't finish. Outdated. Uninteresting. I don't know if the book makes the 1 female character more interesting eventually but at this point, I don't care. There are other books I could be reading with more interesting female characters, or male characters for that matter.

I expected it to be scarier. I don’t think I’ve actually seen the movie so I expected something very different.
