This is a wonderful book about gender identity and friendship. Not once while reading this did I ever feel bored. I borrowed this from the Queer Liberation Library but I love it so much that I plan to buy my own copy of it.

This is really great. There's queer and trans monster sex and the death of a bigoted piece of shit preacher. :)

This book is all about revenge. A crone goes to great lengths to get what she wants. Many people die horrible, gruesome and painful deaths. Oh, and there are spider-people, yay! I had a lot of fun reading this novella. It's the perfect combination of fantasy and horror. If this were to ever be made into a movie, it would make sense for it to be stop-motion.

Andrea Mayo is the heteronym of author Flavia Company. This is a heartbreaking example of how ending up in an abusive relationship can happen to anyone. At times there are vignettes that focus on different abusive situations, such as an employee at a store being berated by a customer, and a child who's neglected by his parents. Laura McGloughlin's translation is incredible, 10/10. I'm glad I read this book despite the upsetting content. Readers who like Carmen Maria Machado's In the Dream House may appreciate this as well.

This is a real page-turner. Ivory Addison is interviewing a serial killer named Amalia Havok for a true crime show. I wouldn't exactly say I enjoyed this, but I was intrigued by the writing and the characters.

Even though the title uses the word "shy" I actually consider consider Moshi to be introverted. Anyway this is a cute and wholesome yaoi manga about a man named Moshi. He lives with his boyfriend Gon and bakes treats for them to share  He is the owner of a real estate agency and his secretary Kozue suggests marketing his company as LGBT-friendly, while not knowing that her boss is gay.

Kozue's behavior is at times icky, and I'm glad there is a panel in which Gon rants that the way Kozue talks about gay men, and LGBTQ+ people in general is problematic.

Also, as an introverted queer person I found myself relating to Moshi when he visits a gay bar with Gon and feels uncomfortable. Also found it hugely relatable that he does yoga.

The parts where they talk about calories bored me though, and that's why I'm not giving this five stars. Although I do really like that not all the men in this manga are conventionally attractive. I'm definitely gonna read the rest of this series.
