When I first read this book I thought it was one of the best things I've ever read, but now it appears like one of the worst books in history. There is so much lecturing about how a woman's greatest achievement is being a wife and mother. Fuck that. I hate children, and I don't want to ever get married. Also, Beth is the most boring character in this book and I don't give a fuck about her death.

This was very enjoyable and the ending satisfied me. The relationship between Peter and Joy was realistic and relatable.

This book came very close multiple times to becoming a dnf, but I'm glad I decided to keep reading till the end. Seeing how Emma becomes a better person and how patient she is with her father makes me feel bad for all the cruel thoughts I had about her.

Such a sad and depressing story this is. I feel really bad for Tess. All she wanted was to be happy with Angel.
