This is my first time reading something by Frances Burney, and after reading this I plan to read everything she's written. Also Lord Orville is really, really amazing and he is now one of my most favorite characters.

This is a good book for people who are childfree. As someone who is doesn't want kids, I felt very empowered and validated by the stories of people who are childfree and happy about it.
