This was entertaining and fun. Kamala is an ordinary teenage Muslim who somehow gets superpowers from a weird mist. It feels kind of stereotypical in some parts, but I am not Muslim so I can't go too deep into that.
That being said, I'm getting more into superhero comics thanks to this and One-Punch Man.
I'm glad I'm not such a snob anymore and opened up to the idea of reading comics, because the art in Ms. Marvel is beautiful. There are so many beautiful and awesome comics for me to read.

Reading this was almost like reading Tomie, in the sense that a character (in this case two characters) go around ruining people's' lives and causing their deaths. Also like Tomie, this manga was kind of funny, in a very dark and creepy way. Chizumi was a very entertaining character and Yuuma was somewhat annoying with the way he apologizes all the time and causes people to melt. They were also thought-provoking, for example the way people all over the world put so much emphasis on beauty and apologizing too much. Overall I was very entertained with this creepy duo, even if it was never fully explained who was telling the truth, but that is to be expected from Junji Ito.
This was a beautifully written book and I'm glad I kept reading it when I didn't want to. Some of the descriptions of animals suffering was hard to read, but I don't regret giving this book a chance.
Excellent collection of stories by a talented author. I have been missing out on Tananarive Due's, and after this I will definitely be reading more from her.

I really enjoyed reading this, even when certain characters infuriated me. The way Louisa shows compassion for people who wronged her was nice, but I can't say I would have done the same in her circumstances. And the ending made me so happy. I'm glad that class differences don't stop Louisa and Eliza from being together. I will definitely be reading more from Jane Eagland.
