I'm loving this series so much. The drawings are beautiful and the story is awesome. And I really love Uta already! I've seen him a few times when I had a tumblr account, but after meeting him now in this volume I can confidently say he is an interesting character. I look forward to reading more and seeing what happens between the ghouls and the investigators.

I love this book so, so much. It is so honest and there is a lot of love in it. Some moments were super cringe-worthy, but those white feminist moments are honest too. The reasons I am giving this book 4/5 stars is because I would have liked for her to have decided that Kira is her forever person, and she doesn't. However I will pretend to myself that Juliet and Kira end up together. <3

Even though I am a white Mexican, it is so wonderful to see representation of Latinas in literature. Reading this has motivated to look up Latina women in history.
