Dit was echt leuk om te lezen! Mot is een hele leuke hoofdpersoon en ik vond het heel inzichtelijk hoe haar relatie met haar moeder zich ontwikkelde. En de Werf!! Daar wil ik echt heen. Het klinkt geweldig. De illustraties in het boek waren ook heel vibey. Ik vond het boek in het begin alleen wat langzaam gaan, pas toen de echte actie begon zat ik er echt in.

I liked the disability rep! The main character has got cerebral palsy and doesn’t let people tell her they ‘don’t see her as disabled’ or any other bullshit like that. It’s nice to see that in a book :)

Some things were a little unrealistic though, such as how the musicians handled their instruments. As a violinist myself it really hurts when they carelessly drop their bow 😭 
The process of getting an anxiety diagnosis and medication also seemed a little unrealistically fast. 

I liked the role of friendship in this book!! I was really glad that they all didn’t forget about their friends as soon as they got into a romantic relationship. Friendship >>

ANYWAY it was a nice book and I don’t understand why I haven’t seen it in any of the disability pride month posts on bookstagram?? We need more positive disabled stories like these
