This was not my favorite by this author but I didn't hate. While I enjoyed the different points of views I found it to be very jumpy and that there were some dramatic personality changes that were never fully fleshed out and the story seems to kind of rush to get to an end. Also there were many times that the women were completely unsympathetic not to mention disrespectful to their mother and great aunt in the story. That alone was hard to read since it made me want to reach through my Kindle and pop them all at least once during the story. A decent read but I prefer the Mama B stories over this one.
Entertaining enough and cute. The heroine was funny and the banter between Sebastian and her was amusing as well. I felt like the pace of the attraction between her and Alex was pretty fair as well. Overall an enjoyable read perfect for a weekend at the beach.
This was entertaining enough but I didn't like it as much as the Lexy Baker series. I felt the magic part was almost put in as an afterthought and the thoughts into the cats (while cute) didn't happen often enough to really add to the story overall. Maybe this is one was just the seeds are planted here and they really bloom later on but this one just didn't connect with me as much as some of her others one. Enjoyable enough for a rainy day read though!!
