So I really liked this one--I liked how the mystery unfolded and then came together with a couple of twists thrown in. I even like the different POVs throughout the story (although I wonder as to why Streeter's chapters aren't first person and also feel that there should be something to make it apparent the narrator is changing). Liv is a wonderful narrator and I did find myself chuckling at some parts. The only thing is and this holds true with the first one is that I feel the stories need to grab the reader quicker than they do. One of the reasons I trudged through the first few chapters was b/c I really liked "In the Belly of Jonah" by Brannan and remembered that one took awhile to take off as well but the story was a big pay off, as was this one. Still, I think it would be a good idea for the next one to not take too much time laying out the seeds as not many readers are that patient.
