My roommate and I recently discussed how much certain books, movies, and tv shows shaped our identity during our childhood and teenage years. I wanted to re-read those books now and see if they still impact me in the same way.
Adn since I definitely have too much commuting time, I re-read the entire Hunger Games series in less than two weeks in the middle of the semester.
Katniss is cool and teenage and college Pia like her alike. I like her strength and inability to act as someone she is not.

How to Build a Habitable Planet: The Story of Earth from the Big Bang to Humankind
Wallace S. Broecker, Charles H. Langmuir
I was amazed from beginning to end. This book sometimes goes into detail and sometimes is very broad without a clear pattern on what they put the focus on.
A good introduction, tho.
Had to read this for a class.

Forgot that I read this because it was part of my class. Because of that most likely not as exciting as it might have been if I read it voluntarily but still lots of ideas in there.
**this book will be available in English on June 21st! I highly recommend it for a fun/crazy/inspiring read and intro to racism and identity politics in Germany!**
Das ist kein Roman, das ist ein Textbuch. Aber in Romanform, die Spaß bringt zu lesen! (also, es ist schon ein Roman, nicht falsch verstehen

I am reading this for a book club in school. Might write a review once we had our last meeting.
So far I think the book is very interesting, first time I read a book on racism from the biological / scientific perspective.
