I really liked about the first 60% of this book. Great atmosphere! But the last 30% or so was real boring and only stubbornness made me complete the book.

At 50% I thought I had figured it all out. At 60% I was pretty darn bored.

I almost cried close to 90%, but I'm going to blame hormones on that.

I liked the ending. But overall the book isn't that impressive.

Calling this a short story is.. kind of insulting to short stories imo. It doesn't even feel like a separate chapter. It just showcases some of the inner turmoil of Mensah after her traumatic incident in the previous book. And not even anything reflective or deep just "a little shaken up, don't want to go home to questions"
