I can't decide if I want to rate this as a 4 or a 5. It was definitely an enjoyable read and I found myself empathising and understanding the protagonist all throughout. the books, the cats, the feeling towards childhood, it all spoke to me in ways I haven't felt with regards to a book in a long time. but there was just something that's stopping me from giving it a full 5. that said, it was a great read albeit rather short, although it was the perfect length. I'd definitely recommend it.

Wow this book was just all over the place and everyone was so unlikeable and so many different plot points that for resolved in rubbish ways making so many of them almost unnecessary? I just found it irritating especially since it was a cool concept. Oh well.
