I actually really enjoyed this one. not sure if it's cos I've forgotten what happened in the second one so I can't rate this one in comparison but I enjoyed it. the almost self.contained plot felt like it made a bit more sense and even though there's still no sign of an overall explanation or plot, i feel like this issue didn't leave me as confused as I remember others doing.

too bad book 4 is in Birmingham cos I'd devour that right now.

I think this comic did a really good job of living up to its horror genre. it did feel incredibly creepy at times.

I think the only reason I'm hesitant to give it more than 4 stars is because I felt like the dynamic shifted a bit too quickly at one point and I kind of expected maybe a bit of a slightly different change over? unsure if that makes sense.

that said it is incredibly promising and the ending allows for a lot of things to happen without feeling like much of a cliff hanger.

also the water colour colouring is appropriate and gorgeous.

looking forward to picking up more of this and I envision better ratings in the future.

I enjoyed this immensely! i think the whole batman vs joker question has been asked frequently, but I thought this was quite interesting nonetheless. not too mention that it did delve into some of Joker's relationships a bit more and even shown more of harley quinn's character.

also that was some damn fine artwork.

definitely interested in adding this to a permanent collection, and i'm hoping the whole Murphyverse series does happen!

This was great, possibly because I tend to favour the more political series a bit more than the flat out action ones. But I think this is a definitive read in the Batman canon. Dark, broody, almost unlikable, but smart as hell. Definitely a worthwhile read.

I don't think I can shake off how annoyed I was at this book and how Rosie just kept interrupting him omg. I know it's lame to say "if only she listened the entire book would have ended after the 3rd chapter" but the fact that that's true just screams poor writing and storyline to me. oh well. at least my next read will be amazing in comparison.

I think I'm being generous with my rating. I think it was a good idea with quite a few things to think about but it had poor execution. Something about it was just off. I think the author wanted to make a point at the expense of passing over and talking about other things. The ending was also quite rushed, as if they wanted to put in a lot of action to make it more exciting.
