I liked the characters, the different plot points were sometimes endearing or shocking, and I generally enjoyed the plot. I liked the idea of magic being as real as you believed it, and the exploration the main character took on her own beliefs and ideals. 

Some of the poems really resonated with me and others didn’t, and that’s okay :) 

More affirmations than poetry, but it was still a decent read

This book made me feel hopeful, sad, and tense. It was a rollercoaster of emotions. Truly, this story was just as well written as the first. 

I didn’t think this book would live up to its hype, but it totally does. There’s mystery, a romance that was so cute, a patriarchal system that the characters have to deal with. 

Loved this book, it was a cozy read and I’m happy to have characters who would otherwise not be the main character be the main character here. 

I enjoyed the characters and I thought the premise was fun, but I found myself confused even part way through the book. 

Fully enjoyed this book and it has me physically laughing. 

This was a lighthearted read that hinted towards bigger themes that I hope show up in the next book 

Not really a story for me, but I’m sure there are people out there who will really love this book.
