It starts a little slow but I learned alot. 

I’m having such a fun time with this series. This book had some mysterious elements that I rather enjoyed and I loved the new characters. 

I found myself laughing out loud and rooting for the main character. This is such a charming series, that I plan on jumping into the second book as soon as I can. 

Honestly, what did I just read. This was one where I may read it again someday but it just gave me the eebie-jeebies. 

This was informative and told a story that I didn’t know before heading into this book. 

This book left me with things to ponder and tears in my eyes. Once I got used to the writing style, I was locked in. 

Get your tissues ready, because this one gave me both happy and sad tears. This is a story of family, grief, and the family we find along the way. 

What a delightful change of pace with the main characters being ladies in their retirement. There’s snippets of them being younger that not only shows the training but really is fundamental to the plot. This book made me laugh and made me feel like I was on the edge of my seat. 

Honestly, this is a super fun read. Kind of YA at times, especially in the beginning, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t political intrigue, a cute romance, and beautiful world building. I’m not usually one to read series but I’m so excited for the next book. 

Dated, but an okay book when you take into consideration the bias.
