Character Thoughts:
I honestly really liked the characters in this book, Heart and Logan especially. They were quite different from the "stereotypical" characters I see a lot in YA books, and I loved how they had their flaws (Logan stuttering, Heart actually understanding her mistakes and trying to learn from them.) I also liked how not all the people on the 'good' side tried to be extremely likeable (with Daisy taking advantage of Heart's jealousy.) Overall, the characters were pretty well-rounded, and balanced each other out!

Plot Thoughts:
I really liked the idea behind this story, and how it was written. I enjoyed the twists of the dome being an experiment, and the outside being safe. My only complaint would be that the ending was rather abrupt, but everything else flowed really nicely.

World Building Thoughts:
I loved how the world building was done in this book. Rather than a bunch of information being thrown at us from a narrator completely in the know, we learn with a narrator just as confused as us, who asks the right questions to explain the world. In the end, it allowed me to get a better grasp of the world, and build a better picture of the setting (the descriptive writing in this story was also pretty good too! It was just enough to build the world, but not too much that it got too wordy.)

Overall Thoughts:
I definitely liked this book a lot more than expected, and I can't wait to see what the author does next! There was definitely an open ending, and I hope the author decides to write a sequel or another book in the same universe so I can see what happens next!
