This book always makes me feel so connected to my family. My mother and grandmother read it when they were younger and I first read it when I was 12. I reread it for the new movie adaptation coming out and it's just as good as I remember!

Vera Kelly is a spy working for the CIA and doing a mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The story goes back and forth with her missions and flashbacks to her past.
This book started slow, but it was well worth the read. It's a good combination of sapphic and spy without feeling like James Bond. It's a very gripping story with so many twists, I absolutely recommend it.

This book was a quick, enjoyable read. The plotline was very cute (while somehow empowering) and it was so refreshing to see interracial and LGBT+ romance for a change. This book is diversity done right.
