It's cute and makes me want to stop and reflect more, but at times it feels like the author does not understand the systemic barriers that make people stressed.

This is the feral queer representation I needed as a child

This book was suffocating in the best way. It is absolutely heart-poundingly thrilling and the prose is stunning in it grotesqueness. I didn't think I'd like a gothic novel written in the modern day but it has a timeless quality about it. It explores race, generational trauma, and eugenics in a way many other gothic novels don't. I definitely recommend reading it, especially in the fall. 

It's a really cute story and I need more of it

This book made me cry in the library. It's a heartwarming but heartbreaking story about clinging to childhood while (nearly) everyone around you is growing up. It explores aging in a non-moralistic view and makes me yearn for a childhood where I felt free to be a child.

Beautiful art and the stories were kind of terrifying even though it's for a younger audience. I enjoyed it a lot
