This is soooo good. Really such a compelling plot and the dynamics between the four main characters are nuanced and wonderful. Their individual desires and motivations are fleshed out so well, and you can really see the specific relationships building between each of them. I can’t wait to see where this series goes from here.

My one note is that I am REALLY glad I read the Sea Dragons of Amber Bay series first and I definitely recommend that everyone should as well. It sets the scene of the different cultures especially of witches and dragons in this universe, and I was very glad to have that foundation going into this story.

This series played out great. The tensions between the four main characters were well done, even if I would have liked to see more of the dynamic between Aidan and the other two. We get a glimpse of it with Ty, but nothing with Jack. And the titles honestly make zero sense and have nothing to do with anything going on in the plot. But the plot was compelling and nicely more than just a framing device for smut.
