Wow. This book was so emotional and so beautiful and so stark and so sad. It was gritty and real and absolutely heartbreaking. It was the story of love in all of its forms, and of loss in may of them. It was the story of growth and change and beginnings and ends.

The story was good and engaging. The nostalgia was strong. However; there were significant moments of transphobia and mental health stigma scattered throughout and that was hard to read.

WOW. This book blew me away. It is stark, honest, raw, real. It is emotional and doesn't hold back. The character development is amazing. The political message, timely and timeless and powerful.
