Fantastic overview of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 - what came before it, what came after, and the dismantling of Section 5 that occurred in the last few years. Highly recommend to anyone committed to making voting as accessible as possible. We need to know our history in order to effectively advocate.
Best read for someone trying to understand how schizophrenia affects someone, what it looks like in an adolescent. So empathic. So amazing. This is the best look at what it feels like to experience early psychosis that I've ever read, including textbooks.
Another fantastic sociological overview of the Autism Spectrum, historically up through today.
It was so good. SO GOOD. I thought it was going to be a fluff piece, but it is not at all. I cried. I laughed. I grieved the end of Harry Potter all over again. I love the psychological angle of the family dynamics throughout. It was reminiscent of my teen years in more ways than one. I had so many feelings. I'm rambling because it was just so good.
