This was a really cute, quick read! Pretty simple plot, but fun and well-developed characters and I loved Buffett's insertion of his values (pro-environmentalism, pro-feminism, etc.) in the novel through his characters.
This book, considering the time period in which it was written, was out of this world as far as recognizing the struggles of a preteen and teenage young girl in growing up and figuring herself out. In a time when YA didn't even exist, and adolescence wasn't a recognized stage of development, this book hit the nail on the head. Fantastic.
