This was a great wrap-up to the quintology. It was emotionally heavy and big feelings were handled really well. It was well put-together and loose ends tied up, but I found myself with a sliver of hope at the end that there was a doorway left open for a possible sequel series down the line - which I'd welcome to be able to spend more time with the Potatoes.

challenging emotional hopeful informative inspiring

This is an immensely heavy yet hopeful read, and written in a conversational style that can feel less dense than other books on the neurobiology of trauma.

This book was phenomenally well written. The story of Earley's son's descent into mental illness combined with the review of current mental illness treatment protocols was well-put-together and well-researched. I definitely recommend it!
