This is a great, digestible primer on helping people in your life cope with loss. My only complaint is that the advice is very blanket, which is often good but sometimes less accessible for some neurodivergent folx - for instance, the caution against relating a conversation to oneself where that is often how ND folx relate to one another. But overall, it is a fantastic resource.

This was such a fun romp. It was great to see Percy in all of his sarcastic glory without the Whole World weighing on him for once. And I thought there was some excellent messaging about aging that is perfect for a MG/YA novel.

This was a really eye-opening book about the indigenous people of this country. I knew we (white Americans/colonizers) had screwed them over before I read this book, but I didn't realize *how* baked into everything anti-Indian ideas are, and how many people who are lauded as heroes had a role in their genocide, well beyond Andrew Jackson. Hard read. Important.

This was a cute story. I picked it up on a whim and, I think for what it is, it is a great middle grade/YA retelling of the Minotaur myth, in modern voice and in poetry. A quick read, but fun.

This was an interesting read. A memoir that is written as a love letter to Black women, by a Black woman of faith.

Wow. Wooooooow! This whole trilogy was such a beautiful exploration of humanity and the human drive for story. Easily one of my lifelong favorites already.

Oh, this was a fun romp. I really, really love both DEATH and Susan, so I suppose it was a forgone conclusion I'd adore this one. I loved the exploration of holiday traditions and belief structures, wrapped up in a whimsical fun package.
