This is a cute, if basic, social story for kids struggling with focus. My critique would be that the skills taught are pretty NT-leaning, but this is a simple picture book for kids - and their grown-ups - so it may be up to the grown-ups to help kids adapt the skills and put them into practice. If kid-me could have "organized" or "split overwhelming tasks into smaller chunks" just because someone told me to, my life would have looked veeeeery different, haha.

This was a cute fun read. The editing job was a bit shoddy (multiple times, the wrong character was named in a passage - I counted at least 3 times) and Robert Galbraith was a chosen name-drop - in 2019 - which I disliked. But it was cute and fluffy and fun. And it touched on mental health in a way that was, while not expertly done, passably done.
