I have been on a bit of a run of books based (mostly loosely) on the Greek Gods, so the blurb for A Game of Retribution intrigued me.

I have not read the first book in the Hades series, so I admit that this may affect my feelings on book 2 a little bit.

I don't know what Hades and Persephone were like in the first book, but I will say that I really liked Hades (am I supposed to like the God of the Underworld? Probably not as much as I did haha)

I did feel that there was not really much happening for a 444 page book. Sure there is one God trying to overthrow another, blackmail and the likes, but mostly it was Hades and Persephone, who are supposed to have this big love, fighting, not communicating, and effing it out. Oh boy, do they boink it out a lot. I mean, yeah, fighting is foreplay and all that, but you still gotta talk to each other in between.

But this could just be me, and again my not reading the first book may affect this.

I did enjoy A Game of Retribution to read it all, but I don't know if I will go on and read more of the series.

What a vibrant and sassy story we get with A Lady's Guide to Fortune Hunting.
I adore that Kitty shows it all - she doesn't hide what she is going for, she shines a light on the double standards in Regency London, the battlefield that is the 'ton' during the marriage season.

I loved the wit and snark between Kitty and Radcliffe. So many sparks fly between them that you know they are going to be a wonderful love match (a la Darcy and Elizabeth, Anthony and Kate)

Ms Irwin's writing brings the nuances of the characters to life. I liked that there is no scandal between our lovelies, that they really are just a wonderful pair who find themselves drawn to each other.

I really did enjoy reading this one, and I look forward to reading more by this author in the future.

*re-release of 2016 story, and just as good as the first time round*

Craving Justice isa fast paced ,edge of your set, suspenseful story that had me hooked right from the get go. 4 hot Aussies in Seattle (they don't have accents by the way, the rest of the people do). Alpha. Uber protective. Family.

This is the first in the Brothers of Justice series and is Seth Justices' story. And the woman who knocks the breath out of him, Harper Fox.

From the first word to the last I was taken along on one heck of a ride as forces conspire to ruin Seth and his family.

The story took a turn that took my by surprise. I had an inkling about something early on in the piece but when we learned more...

BOOM! HEAD EXPLODED!

Craving Justice is intense, full of questions that will have you wondering whodunnit.

And it will leave you craving more of the Justice brothers.

I have read a few Sophie Green stories now, and am at the stage that I will never give up an opportunity to read a new one.

She has again given us an wonderful tale of different lives intertwining, and strangers becoming family - because blood does not always make you a family.

Set in 1998, it gave me some great memories of how my home country and home state were. I smiled at the reminders of Sydney pre-Olympics and how the city changed in those years leading up.

Beautifula imagery had me picturing the places she was talking about as I was reading.

As there were many characters, it did take me a little while to distinguish a couple of them from each other, but once I got my brain wrapped around it all was good.

Alex most resonated with me, as I too did the tree change from Sydney to country NSW. so her feelings about the town and time to adapt felt so real to me..

I liked how the choir brought all these completely different, yes somehow similar characters together. Their issues were relatable, and I felt that their stories grew and resolved organically,

Sophie Green has become one of the Australian authors whose stories I have come to really admire, and I look forward to reading more of her works in the future.

I am loving being taken on the journey with the Pittsburgh Titans as they rebuild.

I liked Gage before, but now I freaking love him.

He is definitely made out of boyfriend material

If you have read the Vengeance series, you have met our lovely leading lady Jenna - she is Emory's sister (she got together with Jett).

Gage is such a perfect, wonderful, beautiful soul. Like, pretty perfect really.

I don't want to say too much, as I want you go to in and just love it.

Because I did.

More timein Sarina's hockey land? Yes Please!

I liked that Ian and Vera at first didn't know what to do with each other. Sure, they were both attracted, but sure they didn't like each other so much either.

Which leads to lots of sexy banter..... and then sexy times!

Now, every time I read Ian's surname - Crikehy - I read it in Steve Irwin's voice hahah

Naughty neighbours are the way to be with this pair, add in a summer trip with her friends/his teammates and sexiness ensues.

I really enjoyed Love Lessons, it was fun, flirty and easy read. I hope we get more in the series in the future.
