BJ Harvey has done it again with Game Ender. It is always a bittersweet feeling when a series comes to an end, but when it goes out with a bang like Game Ender, you can't help but smile.
I didn't think anyone would come close to my Mini Walking Dildo, Matt Taylor, but I am here to say that Thomas Caldwell has come to give him a run for his money.
Whilst Thomas and Amy have been in each others orbit for a while, it is a rather unusual event that finally brings them together. And when they do finally get together, it is like the planets have aligned.
'Life is a series of decisions and consequences. They can be good, they can be bad, they can be dangerous, and occasionally surprising."
I adore Amy and Thomas separately, but together, my heart soared.
I loved getting more of the guys and gals from the Bliss and Game series. They characters are quite an incestuous mob, so it would not be one of their stories without the rest of them popping in and out of each book.
I don't want to give anything away about this book, as it is one you need to savour for yourself, Just know that I absolutely adored Game Ender and feel the Ms Harvey definitely left the best till last in this series.

Yes!! A new book in the Game series. Not gonna lie, I love the Bliss series, but I seriously LURRRVE the Game series.
And each book keeps getting better and better.
Abi and Cade were everything and more that I could want in my lovelies. She is feisty, sassy, has a mouth on her and doesn't give a crap what anyone thinks.
He is smoking hot, smart and so not what you would expect him to be.
And when they get behind closed doors... phew, is it getting hot in here. Proximity lust from the pheromones flying between them!

Friends to lovers is one of my favourite romance tropes at the moment, and this one ticked all the boxes. And it was... omg you won't believe it.. it was free of angst! NO, seriously! Was everything easy peasy for them? did they have hurdles to jump? Hell yeah, but one of the things I adored the most about them is that they acted like adults and - are you sitting down? - they talked shit out. Communication is a wonderful thing!
I love that we got more of the guys and gals from the Bliss and Game series. This group is a bit incestual (without the actual incest!!) with the way they all kind of form relationships among their family and friends.
And it just makes them all the closer, and their conversations all the funnier.
Even though this is the 3rd book in the Game series, it could be read as a stand alone as there is enough information about the characters to get you through who is who. But then again, what would you want to miss out on any of the mayhem and madness that surrounds them.
I devoured Game Saver in one sitting, and now I am impatiently waiting for what Ms Harvey brings us next.

That's it. This Aussie needs to get herself lost in Hartbridge at Christmas time!
I feel that I would be like Jayden, all amazed at a white Christmas in a picture perfect, Hallmark-y town.
I loved our gayby Cass and how he has come to be his true self, and am thankful for the way his family has taken this huge u-turn in his life.
Gah, this series is just so cute that I know I will be reading them all again each Christmas.

Two songs were in my head the whole time I was reading Secrets and Lies. This one here (who doesn't love Hot For Teacher by Van Halen??) and Kissed The Teacher by ABBA (can we get two more different songs??)
I love the collabs that these authors do, and they are always seamlessly written.
Ryder is such an old soul in a young body, and I would never have guessed his age if I didn't know this was an age gap romance. Now, I don't usually mind an age gap story, but the first time we find out the difference I kind of gasped.
But their feelings are so true, so pure for each other that I couldn't help but forget it most of the time.
I spent most of the book waiting for the shoe to drop, waiting for someone to find out and for the excrement to hit the air con. Each page I turned I was, is it happening now?
I loved how they pushed the boundaries of their taboo (but not illegal!) relationship
Ryder gives me vibes of Bash or Robbie from these authors previous series - he is like sunshine after a storm, and you can't help but love him.
Cute and sweet and adorable and just a great, low angst story.

I am obsessed with this book. This is definitely my favourite Sophie Gonzales book to date, and my first time reading Cale Dietrich.
This was a sweet and lovely and fun and sad look at the machinations of a boy band. At times I had to remind myself that the characters in this book were only 18, as what they were going through would be hard to do as someone years older than they are.
Ruben and Zach are

It's time for another round at Jameson Force Security.
And I think that this is my favourite to date (I have terrible bookzheimers, so I will admit that I can't remember much of the previous books - not surprising when you read as much as I do some times)
I adore a second chance at love, and throw in an adrenalin-spiking rescue and a man and woman who never stopped loving each other, and I was hooked.
These guys are closer to my age than college age - woo hoo - and I am glad I am no the only one who doesn't always have her ducks in a row lol.
I loved Greer's badassery, and while I am all for the women can do anything the man can thing, I don't know, but sometimes her pushing that agenda annoyed me,
I think Ladd's relationship with his wife and his ex are something we can all aspire too.
I loved getting more of the guys and gals at Jameson.
I know we have at least one more Jameson story to come, and I say this with every Sawyer Bennett series - I hope that this is the last in the Jameson series and that we finish on a high before things taper off.

Now, I am the first to say that I am not one to understand the K-pop phenomenon, and the obsession some of my friends have with it, and if this had been a book by anyone other than Rachel Van Dyken, I probably would have given it a wide berth
And I shouldn't have been surprised that I really enjoyed it,
All I really knew about k-pop was that the stans over in South Korea can be a little bit psycho, and that there has been a lot of deaths of idols due to the pressure they have put on them.
I was completely Grace coming into this story, I knew about as much as she did when she got this job. My heart hurt for her as she is thrown in the deep end with the wolves of SWT.
I adored her backbone and how she stood up to them. And won them over,
I don't want to give anything away as I feel that you need to dive in blind to get the full effect of Grace's tale, but I will say that you can tell there has been a lot of research by RVD into the lives of k-pop idols. I say that if I was a fan of the genre, I would have a serious look at the way the fans and record companies treat their people.
There's some twists and turns that I was not expecting along the way.
I hope we get stories on more of the guys - especially Sookie!
I look forward to the TV show that is in the works.

Kissing My Co-worker is a sweet and sexy novella about letting go of what is holding us back, and going after what you want.
Declan and Lily are crushing on each other and it is kinda swoony the way they finally realise that the feeling is mutual.
I mean, nothing like a New Year's resolution to make you go for it, right?
Although this is a novella, it did not feel rushed like some novellas do.
I am looking forward to more of the Fun For The Holidays books.
