You had me at 'former' rock star

Oh man, how much did I love this installment in the Vino and Veritas series?

That's right, as much as Mark Darcy likes Bridget Jones (side note, Colin Firth

;

I adored Kolby and Adam's installment int he WoTN series.

Fun and sexy and adorable and I just love them

I was worried at first when we find out the Mormons stuff that there may be a real religious overtone to Showstopper (and that is hard pass for me) but thankfully there wasn't.

I loved how neither of them were looking for a relationship, but one fell in their laps, and that they - eventually - went for it.

I am loving these V & V stories, and could read one every week forever.

Yes! I have been wiating for Murph's story since we met him in an earlier book of this release.

And I was not disappointed. I think that this was my favourite boo, in this lot of WoTN books.

I loved everything about Murph. I loved his joy, his flamboyance and that he didn't let anyone dull his sparkle.

I loved how he brought Jason out of his shell... and maybe out of his closet haha

There is lots of innuendo that leads to lots of spark and hotness.

I adored Jason coming into his own and standing up to those around him.

Yes, definitely my favourite in the series.

3.5 stars review to come

This book gave me vibes of 50s Hollywood, Audrey Hepburn on the back of a Vespa, Cary Grant being all smouldering and sophisticated.

What i didn't know was that it was a novella - which is OK - or that it was the first in a series and ended on a cliffhanger - again, ok with me just unexpected.

Ania and jerome's story had us jetsetting from the glitz and glamour of Canne, across continents, and across boundaries

The Steal is a mystery with a hint of romance along for the ride.

I am looking forward to the next installment when it hits our kindles.

What happens when the quirky librarian knocks the town playboy on his ar$3?

That's what we get when Harriet meets Jensen.

I like Harriet. I like that she walks to the beat of her own drummer. I like that she doesn't give a crap what anyone thinks of her, and adore that she sticks up for those who have no one to stick up for them.

From the beginning I knew that there was more than the player persona to Jensen, but boy did it take some work to drag it all out of him.

And I freaking LOVE that they drag each other out of their self imposed ... pigeon hole I guess you would call it.

And when they take on all the small town gossip as a team.

I enjoyed this story, and look forward to more of the Kittredge Ranch series in the future.

I liked this gay retelling of Notting Hill - I mean, all that was missing was the house with the blue door!

Aubrey is the gruff book store owner and Blake the visiting American actor.

Now, I wanted to slap some sense into Aubrey - he was quite insufferable all the time, complaining all the time about what books people are buying and for what reason - dude, you're struggling to keep the doors open, let them buy them for door stops if it is what they want!

We don't really get to know much about Blake - other than he is hot - for a lot of the book, and wish we had more development there.

Actually, we don't really see our lovelies falling for each other much either. They hang out have sex and boom they are in love. I wish we got more of the why they liked each other, not just that they do.

We got more of the relationship with Aubrey's ex than the new relationship being forged.

So yeah, I did like it, but wish we got more.

That being said, this is Hayden Stone's debut novel, and i will read more in the future.

What a surprise this book was to me.

I wasn't expecting such an emotional story. I love the story of redemption that runs through it all.

Jace and Haven will have you laughing, crying and frustrated - sometimes all in the same few page.

I love the strength of the ladies at Aspen Crossroads, and adore the way they move on from their pasts, especially given the crap that the town Mayor likes to throw their way..

Now, I didn't realise when I requested this book that it was a Christian romance, so all the religious stuff was a bit much for this athiest, but it didn't stop me reading and finishing the book like other books have done, so that it testament to the story

Another adoringly wonderful addition to The Kiss Quotient series,

I have been hoping for Quan's story since The Bride Test, and I have not been disappointed

Anna goes to show that you never know what is hiding behind a smile. It looks like she has it all, with a successful career, a boyfriend and wonderful family,

But behind all that she is struggling, I can't tell you what a douchebag the boyfriend is, and how I hate, hate, hate nearly everything about her family - I had such visceral feelings whenever they were on the page and I wanted to reach into my reader and slap them stupid.

I mean, how could none of then have realised Anna's beautiful quirks were not more? From the first few pages I got that she was on the spectrum.

Enter tattooed, heartbreakingly wonderful Quan and Anna (and this reader) had no chance.

I love his patience, his loyalty, his love for his family.

I won't lie, I shed more than one tear as I was reading this story

Ms Hoang writes her stories from the heart. You can feel her on every page, and it makes her tales all the more lovable and believable.

I hope we get more of this series in the future
