Ooooh sexy lumberjacky guy on the cover? Let me at it hahah
This is my favourite of the Speakeasy Taproom so far.
I love a fake relationship story, as I love seeing the Fakey McFakersons catch real feelings.
Preston and Rosalie were fabulous, really. This was a sexy and fun and flirty story, however it also had some sad and hurting and frustrating moments
I am not a fan of OTT matchmaking, and Rosalie's mum was the queen of that - however it didn't carry on all the time so it didn't annoy me too much this time.
Also, what is it with horrible fammily/parents in this series? Preston's dad is just ugh and his family are so not there for Preston, and I hated them (except one member) for the whole story. They all need a swift kick in the privates!
There were a couple of tines when our lovelies acted a little stupid and immature, however they got over that crap very quickly, thank goodness.
Overall, Homecoming was sweet and sexy and lovely, and I could read books like it every day.

This was my first read by Christi Caldwell, and one that I thoroughly enjoyed.
I loved the precociousness of Emma. I adored that Charles finally sees the light and doesn't give up.
I adored that Emma was a fierce woman who would not do what she is told she had to do, just because she was a woman. I loved that she pushed the boundaries.
It irked me that Charles did things to get her attention, even when he realised that that were affecting his woman.
I was glad that they got their act together, and stopped fighting the attraction.
I was left smiling as I read this book. I need to go back and read the first book, and will definitely read more as they come along.

Ms Jenner is back, baby!
I have not read the previous books in the Kings of Carnage series, but that did not affect my reading of Bear at all.
And wow, does Bear take us places - mostly places that we woudln't want to be taken in real life (except for bed, because I don't think I would complain about him taking me that way (except for the Daddy thing, but that is just my bug bear not anyone elses).
Jupiter and Bear's story is one of lust and loss and all kinds of biker badness. Jupiter is a kick ar$e babe who takes no crap from nobody, and will kick your ar$e and never kiss it. And I would want her to be my friend (even if she scared me a little hahaha)
This is one book that will have you on edge of your seat, waiting for the next big moment.

It has been days since I finished reading Pieces of You, and I am still unable to put into words my thoughts on this amazing story.
I was an emotional wreck the entire time I was reading. Now, I am an old fart and don't really read NA/YA stories anymore, however Jay McLean could write the takeaway menu for the local pizza shop and I would be ringing up the shop to purchase all the copies!
And when she gives us Holden, whom I have been wanting to know more about since the end of Leo, well, I knew I had to have it.
And I was not disappointed.
Ms McLean weaves an intricate tale with characters that will steal your heart, and leave you feeling all the emotions.
And hoooeey, knowing that this was only part one, I was expecting some sort of big ending, but man oh man, I was left what the what-ing and whyyyyyys.
I NEED the second part ASAP Jay McLean. I mean, yesterday would be good!

I was intrigued by the blurb of The 22 Murders of Madison May, and that intrigue lasted until the last page.
Now I am not really a sc-fi fan, but Max Barry had me drawn right in to the story of Madison May - the poor young lady who keeps getting murdered, no matter which of the parallel worlds she is living in.
This was one of those books that I didn't know what to expect, and hurriedly turned each page to find out what happened next.
Our heroine Felicity will have you running with her as she not only tries to stop a murdered, as her world keeps changing. She really made this book for me. I wondered how she would adapt to each new "Felicity", and she did so with aplomb. I am sure I would have gone nutso after the first change, let alone her many.
If you are a fan of pure thrillers, the sci-fi aspect of the story may not be your thing, however for me, this was an added extra to this exquisite tale.
I have not read Max Barry before, but I will definitely be checking more out in the future.

Yaaaaass b*tches! We're back in the True North-verse, and I can't get enough!
I met Colt and Tracy in one of the other books in this release, and I loved getting their whole store.
There is an insta-hatey/lusty thing going on here and I adored watching our lovelies find their happy.
There is much snark and fight between them, and when secrets are involved I spent the time waiting for the shoe to drop. And all I was thinking was "just tell him, woman!" I knew it would cause troubles but I was glad that they settled things without too much issue.
I really liked the stories of the people of the Speakeasy, and could read stories like this for years to come.
Another lovely addition to the Highland Falls series.
Falling In Love On Willow Creek has a lot more danger and energy than the other books in the series, and it will keep you wondering who can be trusted in this small town.
Sadie and Chase's story is not all smooth sailing, and you will spend a lot of the time waiting for the other shoe to drop, however you will also love falling in love along with then.
I liked that it didn't show motherhood as all easy, and I liked seeing a character written that does struggle with life with a newborn.
I did find that it did drag a little bit, and there could maybe have been a chapter or two that were cut to make things flow faster - however that is just this readers thoughts.
I loved seeing more of the couples that we have already met, and we really do all need an Abby in our lives.
Sweet and scary and adrenalin pumping at times, I enjoyed my time back in the falls

Ooooh Leif! I adored what we got of him in Repeat.
And I LOVED what we got in Pause.
It's been a couple of years since we got to meet the brothers, and it felt like coming home again when I started Pause.]
Anna and Leif is a slow burn romance, with a wonderful friends to more. To quote Jack from the movie Speed: "I have to warn you, I've heard relationships based on intense experiences never work."
That is how our lovelies come together, and you can feel the push/pull between our lovelies and you just know they are going to be perfect for each other, but boy they fight it every step of the way!
Sweet and loving, with some heartache thrown in for good measure, I didn't want to Pause reading this book.

I was hooked by the first Richter book, and I dove into A Thin Disguise with as much enthusiasm as I ended the first book.
And whilst I liked it, I did find that it dragged for a lot of the story. I found myself skipping ahead in chapters, as to me (and this is just my opinion) that there was a lot of filling between the action.
When the action happened, it was fast paced and kept me on the edge of my seat. Leo and Olivia's story is not a light and fluffy one, but you won't be able to stop yourself for cheering for then to fall in love.
So whilst this was not my favourite of the series so far, I look forward to reading more in the future.

I was first attracted to the cover of this book (and this says something as I don't really usually look at the covers), and then I was attracted to the blurb - I mean, who wouldn't want to live out their rom-com dreams?
Julia and Luke get to live out their Lloyd Dobler, Tom and Meg fantasies at a Dirty Dancing-esque hotel, and had my romcom loving heart swelling.
I did wish that there was a bit more communication between our lovelies, which might have given them a bit more chemistry, but this is probably just a me thing.
I loved the secondary characters just as much, and I would love to get some more of them at some stage, even if it was just novella.
I look forward to whatever Ms Johnson brings us next.;
