Yaaaaass b*thces! We're back in the Shipley-verse, and I can't get enough!

And not only are we in Shipley-land, we are back with Ms Bowen's M/M tales. woot woot!

Kieran and Roderick are both lost little boys (well, men) lost. Both have had really sh!tty people around them, and they are hurting and I just want to hug them and squeeze them and call the George.

But there are also the AWESOME Shipleys to counteract the crappy ones, and I love them more than I have in the past True North books.

There are plenty of sexy and heartwarming times in Roommate, however there were times when I was reading through streams of tears, trying to cry quietly as to not wake the friends I am staying with lol

It took me a few days to get through this story - not because it was dragging or anything, but because it was Christmas, and people kept on interrupting me!

Be warned - you will be craving baked goods as you read about Kieran and Roddy - I swear I put on 3kg reading it.

I need to find myself a Roddy to bake for me.

I need more, more more of these Vermontians! Please make this happen Ms Bowen!

Brant is just horrible, and I won't give him any more of my time

This is going to be another of my favourite cozy mystery series

The life of the father has become the life of the son.

Chase Abandonato has been my favourite RVD mafioso since I first read Elite.

Ash Abandonato has been the Next Gen kid that I have been jonesing for.

And Rachel Van Dyken has not disappointed.

Actually, what I should be saying is "holy f*&k RVD, what are you doing to me?"

We had seen what was going on in Ash's past, and now we get to see how he moves forward. And Annie is just the girl to do that with.  I adore her. Every last molecule of her. You are going to fall in love with her just as I did.

There is so much that you think you know about Ash's story, but I am here to tell you

Gah, there is so much I want to say about Destructive King, but I don't want to give anything away. You need to dive in to this story and let it take over your soul.

I love love loved seeing the OG EE, and my man Chase

What's better than a 6 hour car ride?

That would be 6 hours with Charlie, Travis and the scooby gang of Sutton Station.

I loved getting swept away with our lovelies. I can't help but think "Oh Chavis" every time I read/listen to one of the Red Dirt series.

Though I will say, Charlie boy, did I want to slap some sense into you at times or what. Gah!

Another great narration by Joel Leslie, whom I just can't get enough off.

And lucky for me, I have another, longer road trip coming up next week, just long enough to fit in book 3!

Ms Ryder has done it again with Sugarloaf Ridge Secrets.

As someone who has done the tree change, moving from Sydney to a country town about the same size as Sugarloaf Ridge, I completely get the fish out of water feeling that our lovely Daynah feels when she comes to town.

Daynah and Finn's connection is instant, and you can't help but fall in love with them as their story progresses.

There are so many wonderful characters in this story, and they make this town feel like home -if only me welcome to my now home was as wonderful lol.

Also - where are the hot single farmers in my life? hahah

Oh, and the one thing of all that I could not feel the reality of - there is no way, absolutely no way that a secret like that could be kept for 25 years. I sneezed out in my front yard one day, and someone over in the next street/over the back lane yelled back bless you lol. I know, I know, it is fiction, and I love that this town was so loyal to each other.

Ms Ryder's small town stories are becoming some of my favourites of hers, and I look forward to more in the future.

You know when you pick up a JP book you are going to get a heartfelt, wonderful story that you are going to fall in love with.

And Our Italian Summer is no exception - though I think I fell in love with the scenery as much as the lovelies in our story this time.

It is more women's fiction in feel than other JP books I have read in the past - with a story of self discovery thrown in . It was Eat, Pray, Love-ish in its vibe (but better than EPL)

I won't lie, there were a few times that I wanted to throw my reader across the room with Frannie and also Allegra. I could understand their actions/reactions most of the time, but it didn't stop me from hating on them either - especially Frannie.

And Nonni reminded me of Sophia from The
Golden Girls - she was my favourite of the three ladies.

This story has mad me want to travel to Europe more than ever.

I did like where their journey ended up taking them, and I look forward more stories like this from Ms Probst in the future.
