wow! things really ramped up from where Elite ended! the drama that is Nixon, Trace and Chase 's relationship took some unexpected twists and turns (and I am still not sure I like where that ended).

The mafia side of the story also was fantastic, full of lies, betrayals and deaths, showing it is hard to know who to trust.

Thank goodness I have an advanced copy of Entice because I need to know where this all goes

This series seriously keeps on getting better and better.

I have always loved No and Ted, and even though the road has been rough, there is just so much love between them.

Elicit is full on from the word go. There is tension, laughter, anger, and love, so much love.

I also shed a few tears - ok more than a few - as No and Ted struggled with circumstances beyond their control that impact on them.

Ms Van Dyken, you've done it again

just finished my reread, ready to read Empire.

I had forgotten what a tear jerker this book was.

Oh Sergio you wormed your way into this girl's heart

Elite was an interesting book, hard to categorise really.

Trace wins entry to an exclusive school, full of the children of the rich and famous. sounds great enough.

but what a bizarre school! the students run the school, bullying runs rife...

Elite is very well written, can feel the emotions Trace feels, especially through the bullying scenes - yeah, I might have shed a tear reading it.

It was a bit hard to believe that the characters were mostly college age, they all felt a lot older.

I did love the interactions between Trace, Nixon, Monroe, Tex and Chase. enjoyed the little love triangle thing going on in there.

I hope the wait for Elect is not too long, as the teaser at the end of Elite has me intrigued.

I love love love the Brooklyn Bruisers series, and I was absolutely thrilled to get an early copy of Sure Shot.

And in fact, except for my Nate, I think this is my favourite story in the Brooklyn/Bruisers series - at least to date!

Bess Beringer is a lady whose story I have been wanting since we first met her - you remember, she is Dave's sister from Zara's story in the True North series (if you haven't read that series, get onto it, STAT!)

Bess is strong and fiesty and successful - and I want to be her friend!
Tank is a new trade coming out of a marriage, and not looking for anything more than resurrecting their fling from a decade ago - nothing could go wrong here right?

Oh my the longing looks across a crowded room, the sexual tension you could cut with a knife and he fun and flirty interactions

Gah, I just love everything about them and this book.

I have been mourning the lost of hockey season in 2020, so reading about my hockey hotties has to get me through this trying time, and the Bruisers are getting me there.

I loved seeing the other Bruisers and their significant others - though there was so much Becca and not my Nate hahah.

I love a second chance story, and absolutely adored Sure Shot.

Now, Ms Bowen - give me more.... please.

I have terrible bookzheimer's, and it has been a while since book 3 in this series, so me being me, I had no idea what I was diving into.

However, once I started reading, things started to fall into place in my brain and I slowly remembered things.

This final instalment dives right back in where book 3 ended, and we hit the floor running. There is so much that we still need to know, still needs to be concluded, so I knew that we were not going to be bored with this story.

And boy oh boy, were we taken on one heck of a ride.

Now, listen very closely, as I will never say this again...

For the first time since I first read the Fixed series all those years back - I hated Hudson Pierce.

Shocking, I know, however in this part he was such a douche, that I just couldn't with him and his sanctimonious BS. I was talking to my Kindle, telling it how dare he act all holier than thou when he was involved in all this stuff, heck he started it all.

And I thought Edward was so much more the man than Hudson in this one. You could have knocked me down with a feather when I came to this realisation hahah.

I don't want to give anything away, as you need to go into this with as little knowledge of what happens after the first three books - you owe it to yourself to just dive in.

Cocka-doodle-doooo mother cluckers! Whilst this is part of the Cocky Hero Club world, it is totally a standalone - and a fund and enjoyable one at that.

Heather and David butt heads (but aren't buttheads) from the minute they met,and it is a sure fire sign that opposites do attract.

And who would have guessed that a rooster could bring true love lol.

David is kinda grumpy when it comes to Heather. Heater is full on hate for David. But beneath all that, you can feel the attraction between them, that push/pull that is going to not just create sparks, but a full on fire.

I loved seeing my favourite fictional goat again - it's been a while since I read Cocky Bastard, and Pixy is the best. I have wanted a goat ever since reading that book lol.

Mother Clucker is a rom-com that had me turning each page, needing to know what our lovelies were up to next.

OH, and now, to go with the goat I have wanted for years, I also want a rooster to be its best friend.
