I haven't read many Jaci Burton stories in the past, however I have liked what I have read to date.

I always end up picking up halfway through a series, so it was a nice change to come in right at the start for once!

They say the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else, right? That's Erin's plan, to get over her fiance by getting under his best friend/best man. Reading that, it sounds a little tacky, but really, this story isn't that at all.

Erin and Jason have chemistry out the wazoo, have years of friendship behind them, and already love each other in a platonic way

This is a slow burn of a story. Sure, there is lots of lusty feelings and long looks across the room, and some sexy times, but they don't rush into bed together - and I liked it. I don't think I could have respected either of them if they had done that,

I love the strong family bonds too #familygoals

I liked that Ms Burton has also given us some set up for future books in the series, and I am looking forward to reading them.

I have really enjoyed the Cocky Suits series, however this is the one I have been wanting since the start.

And Howell and Wolf have not disappointed.

In fact, this is my favourite book in the series. Paisley and Donovan's second chance at love is one full of heartache, hurt, and sexual tension through the roof.

Donovan - man, I love this guy. Even when I hate the guy for being an arrogant a-hole. And boy, the last 10% of this story had my emotions alllll over the place.

I love the Collins brothers as much as I hate them all at times. They and their lady loves made me mad, made me sad and made me laugh out loud at times.

Paisley and Donovan are both a ruthless as each other - and all that animosity leads to some great scenes and sexy AF moments.

There is a scene that completely blindsided me. Like, I was happy and smiling one minute, and a complete emotional wreck the next. All I can say is have some tissues nearby.

I devoured this book, and can't wait for more from this duo.

I like the friends to lovers trope. Gotta love a bit of that action. Throw in a fake relationship (that you know is going to turn real) and I am all in.

This was my first Kayley Loring story, so even though I wasn't all up to date with the other couples in this series, I enjoyed it.

I absolutely loved Keaton. He was kind and caring and has all the feels.

Roxy on the other hand I just couldn't with. She is a 35 year old woman, yet she acted out like a belligerent 13 year old throwing a tantrum for most of the book - she did get better in the last 20% of the book though. She finally grew up!

It was fun seeing the two "third wheels" become a real couple though, especially when putting on the act in front of strangers.

I enjoyed the push/pull between our lovelies - I just wish that Roxy wasn't such a cow to Keaton.

I did like the narrations. Teddy Hamilton is one of my favourite male narrators out there. He brought Keaton to life. I don't think I have listened to Mackenzie Cartwright before, she does have a lovely voice for story telling.

I would look out for more of this series in the future.

Hmmm I really wanted to really like this story, however it was just meh.

Jack and Bella's story was a quick read, and my main issue with this story was our leading man.

I swear, 25% into the book he was a #MeToo, sexual harassment lawsuit waiting to happen! I just shook my head at some of the things he said - for a smart man he said some dumb things lol.

I felt that Bella was going to end up in the same kind of relationship she was in with her ex a lot of the time.

I wanted to see more of the single dad with the daughter, not the guy ogling the girls boobs.

I have grown up knowing the stories of the Colombian drug cartels, of Pablo Escobar, and I remember the news stories when he was killed.

We always hear the story of the criminal. It gets romanticised for movies, they get turned into "heroes" of sorts, and all their evil doings get pushed to the side.

We see the jackets with the big yellow letters on them across our TV screens, but we never hear about the people wearing them.

Manhunters gives us the story of the 2 DEA agents right in the middle of the hunt and capture of Escobar. Steve Murphy and Javier Pena tell their stories from joining law enforcement to the aftermath of the Escobar years.

It is like reading a fictional thriller - except everything happened, even when it seems over the top and can't possibly be true. Their story was the basis of the TV show Narcos, which I watched and loved, and whilst part of that were fictionalised, it gave me a better visual of things as I was reading.

True crime stories can come across as dry reading, however Manhunters was not like that. Javier and Steve's writing had me so interested and involved, so much so that I ate a very late dinner last night as I didn't want to stop reading.

I would love to read more stories like this

Woot! Another Sawyer Bennett hockey hottie to add to my collection!

We got a great lead up to Rafe's story during Dominik, and I wasn't sure if a novella was going to be enough.

Oh, what a punch this short packed.

I knew it was going to be emotional from what we had learned, however it was more than i was expecting.

Rafe and Calliope's relationship is never going to be an easy one, but watching them come back together after the troubles of their past, all the while dealing with Rafe's family issues - I kinda swooned a little.

I laughed, I cried (big fat tears) and I loved, right along with our lovelies.

Did I want a full length story for Rafe - sure I did. But I am completely and utterly satisfied with the novella

Now, time to bring on more of Ms Bennett' hockey hotties!

A book about a "middle" is not something I have read before.

Slade is at rock bottom, Jack is not looking for a boy to look after. Yet their attraction is undeniable. Their snark and banter is fun and flirty.

I am not really a big fan of the Daddy scene, and it can become too much at times, however I am a big fan of Quinn Ward's books, and I found myself really enjoying myself reading Rules To Live By.

I adored seeing more of Jordan (Slade's besty) and where he is at in his relationship with his Daddies

I look forward to more of The Lodge series in the future.

Well, this was a story that I didn't know I needed until I started it.

And goodness gracious, great balls of fire this was hot hot hot!

Jagger, Slade and Imogen with one night of passion had this old girl fanning herself. So much heat, they were burning up the sheets!

i don't know if our lovely Ella and Brooke have plans to give us more of this trio, but I for one will not say no to reading if they do!
