This is my first Dave Sinclair read, and I will definitely be on the look out for more (in fact, I have just downloaded the Eva Destruction series to my kindle).
This is a fun, fast paced spy story that had me laughing out loud at times.
Charles Bishop is like no other spy I have read about. He has a smart mouth that can't do anything but get him in trouble.
Along with friend/foe Oleg they are on a rollicking romp to stop the bad guys. I love their love/hate relationship and I hope we get more of it in future books.
One thing though, I did feel that the ending was a bit anti-climactic - after all the chasing around the world, it just felt a little too easy - but this could just be me.

Yaaaas!
I have been needing Killian Michael's story since I started reading the Fallen Angel series, and it was worth all the wait.
Sigh... the title tells it perfectly. Levi and Killian have that insta-lust thing going on, with as slow burn before Kill can break down the professional walls that Levi is fighting to keep up.
I loved the lingering kisses, the lustful looks across the room, and knowing that the chemistry between them was going to blow the roof off the joint when they finally went all in.
Was great to see where Viper and Halo are at with their relationship, and how things played out with Jagger and Slade after their novella (I freaking loved the epilogue!)
I never want the Fallen Angel series to end

I haven't read the first Brotherhood book, however this did not affect my reading or enjoyment at all.
Firefighter? Check!
Feisty, independant woman? Check!
Friends to lovers? Check!
See, this book ticked a lot of my boxes, but for some reason, I just didn't really feel it with this story.
Rafe is just a cracker of a character, and you could tell why Carmen and the reader will fall for him. I don't know if it is because I missed the first book, but I wanted more of Rafe's background.
Carmen is a strong and interesting characters, even if I wanted to shake some sense into her at times.
I did enjoy reading Ignite on Contact, and I will read the 3rd story, and will go back and read the first one too.

Get your dentist on speed dial, as this book is so sweet it will give you a toothache.
I haven't read the first story in this series, however that did not affect my reading of book 2.
When Brenner and Garrett reconnect, it is a toss up as to whether they will rip each others throat out, or rip each others clothes off!
I like the enemies to more trope. Though I found this one lacked a bit of the tension that I like. our lovelies dealt with it to easily and became friends too simply for my liking - but that is probably just me.
In fact, everything fell right into place for both Brenner and Garrett - man, I wish I had their luck in my life!
There was some deeper issues in Brenner's past, however even that felt like it was too easy (not that I would know, what happened has never happened to me).
I liked the imagery of the dancing - the school, the showcase, everything. I have 2 left feet and the grace of a baby giraffe, so they thought of me dancing is laughable.
If you are after a feel good story with not angst or drama, pick up Rhythm In Blue

Now, I am an old fart, so I don't really read much YA anymore, however this is a Carmen Jenner story, so it is a no brainer that I am going to read it.
The subject matter is not the easiest to read - F&ck Cancer and all that. However I was completely drawn into Styx and Alaska's story, and I ended up reading this book in one night.
Now, I know that the subject matter of this story is not going to be for everyone. I tackles heartbreaking subjects, and you can't help but cry for our lovelies as their stories unfold.
Now, I knew before I went in that this was going to be an emotional book, and I held it together for about 80% of the book, but then I was a blubbering mess, reading the story through copious amounts of tears.
Ms Jenner, I will be emailing you a bill for the shares in Kleenex I must have bought as I read.
I don't want to give anything away, as this is story you need to dive in blind and experience with the characters.
Just know that you need to read it.
I can't wait to see what Ms Jenner brings us next.

A friend of mine has been telling me for at least a year that I have to read Robert Bryndza. And it has taken me up until Nine Elms to start.
Why oh why did I not listen to her all that time ago?
This is the start to the Kate Marshall series, and i really enjoyed it.
I mean - serial killers, copycats, and the woman caught in the middle of it all.
I like Kate - though I was disappointed that the author went down the cliches road of the copper being an alcoholic. I felt that we could have done without that. But that could just be me.
I found myself forcing myself to put the book down at night, knowing if I didn't I would be up all night finishing.
I liked the arc the story took, and that Kate never gave up.
I really, really liked her assistant Tristan. I am looking forward to where his story goes as the a
stories continues.
I am looking forward to reading more of this series in the future.

Sylvain Reynard is one of my must read authors. Gabriel's Promise has been a long time in the making, but worth every second of the wait.
Now, I have terrible bookzheimers, and I didn't reread the previous books prior to diving in to book 4, so it took me a while to get my head back around where there story was at, but once I did it was full steam ahead for me.
We are back with our Professor and his lovely Julianne, their growing family and the intriguing world of Dante and his Beatrice.
A little bit of mystery and drama, grumpy professors, and a whole lot of dirty, sexy times had me turning each page.
I did find the first 25% or so a little slow, and a little heavy handed on the religion stuff - that's just the athiest in me I guess! If it weren't a Sylvain / Gabriel book, I am not sure if I would have kept on reading, however I knew it would be worth it to keep going.
And ugh, Gabriel/Julia - what was with the not telling each other stuff???
I know it makes it sound like I didn't like this book, however that is not the case. Just my pet peeves showing!
What I really loved, was getting more of Paul - you know, the Angelf*&ker. I always liked him, and loved seeing his and Julia's relationship moving forward.
The ending, to me, felt a little open ended - so fingers crossed that there will be more in the future. Please let us have more.
