Woohooooo we are back in Elle Kennedy's hockey hottie world, and I couldn't be happier!

It seems an age since we have been here!

If you have read the previous Briar U books, you have already met Hunter - if if you haven't, you don't need to have, but why haven't you???

My heart hurt for him in the previous books, so I was so excited when I learned that he was going to get his own story and HEA.

However, he doesn't want a relationsship. His girl Demi isn't looking for a relationship. And the celibacy thing means they can't even have a one and done!

Oh, the tension between them is off the charts. I loved watching the become friends before they became more. So many books these days start with a bang before a relationship starts, so it was a refreshing change to go the opposite way.

I loved getting to see more of the guys and gals from the previous Briar U books, and oh my goodness Hollis and Rupi had me in stitches.

I am not one to read as much college aged books any more (nothing to do with the stories, just that I am an old fart and it makes it hard to relate to a lot) however Elle Kennedy could write the take away menu and I would read it.

Great NA romance, and I hope we get more Briar U in the future.

This was my first Kate Stewart read - I know, I know I have been under a rock or something.

What a cute, funny and fun book to get lost in. After a few darker reads lately, I needed something sweet that wouldn't tax my emotions as hard as what I have been reading.

I adore Laney and Theo's story - even when I hated people I adored them too.

The last 20 pages I spent with a big smile on my face (and maybe a sneaky tear in the eye).

I enjoyed this story, and will add more Kate Stewart to my library in the future.

I am a sucker for a Christmas story, and a Christmas story with a second chance of love story included is the best.

Emma and Fletcher's tale is serendipitous in that a chance finding at a pawn store leads our lovelies on a journey to reconnect, and to realise they never stopped loving each other.. swoon.

Of course there are hurdles to jump, however I liked that it wasn't all easy peasy for our lovelies. They had to fight for what they wanted.

There was a character involved, that gah, I could see what was happening right from the start and was yelling at my Kindle for Fletcher to wake up and smell the coffee - you will pick it too, I am sure, however it was all part of cupid's big plans.

There is a scene stealer that will completely have your heart too.

I love that there is little angst and no OTT drama also.

Great to get you into the Christmas mood, and to believe in Christmas miracles.

A cross generational "road trip" featuring 3 generations of lovely ladies from the same family.

Ged, Gralice and Sappho have embarked on this journey together, however secrets and betrayal tear them apart rather than bring them together.

Ms Johns writes these flawed characters with such realism that there could always be at least one character per book that is in our family or our circle of friends. They are warm and loving, however nobody is perfect and it makes them more enjoyable and relatable.

The story flows and is completely engaging. I needed to know what was going to happen with these ladies, so I had to keep turning each page.

I look forward to more of Ms Johns work in the future.

Is it ever too early to read Christmas books - the correct answer is NO! and I won't take any other.

Christmas Angels is a sweet, beautiful tale of going after your dreams.

Childhood dreams of family and places are what drive our lovely lady Liz. The place radiates everything she has always love and what she has dreamed of for years. And I can't blame her I want to move with her.

And then there is Matt. Oh my gosh, that man! Move over Liz, I am trying to get that man for myself.

I love the small town vibe of Christmas Angels. The sense of community is something you just don't get living in bigger towns or cities.

This was a slow burn of a romance, but it didn't feel dragged out. Our lovelies just took their time to get there.

Now i need some hot chocolate, STAT!

My sister has been at me to read these books forever, so when it came up on Audible, I was yeah, OK.

I can understand the hype over this book. It is a pretty darn enjoyable story, and I have listened to it over the past week on my walks.

I adored Rosie. How she put up with Don sometimes is a mystery. I loved the way she brought him out of his unknown-to-him ASD shell.

There are so many different characters brought in during Rosie's search, so at times it felt a but clunky and disjointed, and I did scratch my head going "who is this one again?" however it all came together well.

I found the narration easy to listen to. Dan O'Grady is a new to me narrator, and it was good to hear it read by an Australian, not an overseas narrator trying to pull off our accent (can anyone really get it right??).

I do have the second book waiting on my shelf at home, I guess I better finally dig in!

Well, isn't Ms Paige just a dirty, filthy tease!

This novella is really a prologue to the Dirty Filthy Rich Men series that is coming to us next month, and she sure has whet my appetite for more.

This is fun, dirty, sexy - and all a big, big tease that has left me wanting more right this minute!

Well played Ms Paige, well played!

This is only my second Julia London read (and no, the first read was not the first in the Princes of Texas Series, however this did not affect my reading of book 2).

Hallie Prince is the princess of this family. However to me, for a lot of the first half of the book, I was more inclined to think spoiled brat. I found her quite unlikable for a long time, however she did get better as the book progressed.

Rafe, sometimes he annoyed me, but mostly I adored this guy. Even when I wanted to slap some sense into him lol

I did enjoy watching these best friends become more - slowly but surely anyway. Though there was a time or two where I wanted to bang their heads together and tell them to get their act together.

I don't think at all the Rafe was a "devil in the saddle" - he's way too good of a man to be a devil anywhere at all.

I will go back and read the first book, and want to read the next book in this series.

have been enjoying the kinkier books by this author, and I have particularly liked this installment of the series.

Cole and Bear's relationship isn't always an easy one, there are issues for both of them, however the author has dealt with these very well. Things do get a little off the rails for our boys towards the end, however they are resolved like adults.

There is so much attraction between Bear and his boy, it flies of the pages when they are in the same room. It was wonderful watching them realise that they could fall in love again.

Beautifully written, wonderful story arc and character development. I can't wait to see what happens at Club 83 next
