I have not read anything else by Ms Guillory so I didn't know what to expect from her .
The Proposal is cute and sweet and fluffy, and just the thing that I needed for my weekend read.
I liked the diversity of the characters - though it did irk me that when 2 POC characters met up they were surprised that their partners had not told them about the other being a POC. I just didn't understand why this was brought up when it didn't really seem to matter? But this could just be me.
Not going to lie, I did crave cake as I read and cupcakes were being talked about. Not good for the diet!
I liked Carlos and Nikole and wanted them to be more than friends right from the start, and enjoyed their journey to get more.
I liked this book, it wasn't one that will tax your brain or your feelings too much, but it was just what I wanted at the time.

I have loved all the stories in the Naughty Princesses series, however I feel that Ms Sivec has definitely left the best till last with Kiss The Girl.
I have been impatiently waiting for Ariel's story since the minute she knocked on Cindy's door back in book one, and Ms Sivec has definitely not disappointed.
I am pretty sure that if she was real, Ariel and I would be the best of friends. I am not sure who swears more, her or me lol. We would need to count to check that one out!
I loved Ariel and Eric together, and needed them to fight their way to their HEA. And what fun that fighting was - fighting is foreplay they say!
I loved getting more of Charming and Cindy, and Belle and Vincent - I have to say, Belle really has turned into a dirty little minx hahaha
I laughed, I cried, and I go oh so angry whilst reading this book. I couldn't put it down and was up reading till 2am to finish it.
I am going to miss these girls, but I can't wait to see what Ms Sivec brings us next.

I didn't realise this was part of a bigger series when I picked it up.
I have not read any Cambria Herbert books at all, and the only reason I picked up #Junkie was that I met Ms Herbert at a signing last year and a) i liked her signing banner b) the cover really really stood out c) hello, m/m and car racing? Let me at it.
I enjoyed Trent and Drew's story, from friendship to more.
I am guessing that the family around Trent and Drew were characters in the # series? I liked them, they made me want to be part of their group. I didn't get all the dynamics between the group, however it did not take away anything from my enjoyment of Junkie.
I laughed, I cried, I cheered. Most of all though I devoured this book so quickly once I got it home.
I now need to get my butt into gear and read the rest of the GearShark series, as I need to know what happens next.

Welcome back to Lisa's world of corporate high flyers, dirty deals and even dirtier relationships.
Reid and Callie's relationship is full of sexual tension and lust and hatred. And I wanted all of it to come out fighting.
I liked their story and their relationship, however I felt that it got stuck on a bit of a merry-go-round for a while there where our lovelies were all I like you-hot sex-I hate you-hate f&^k-rinse and repeat. The book could have probably done with about 50 less pages as I did find myself thinking "here we go again" is the cycle started each time.
I do like the fighting between them as I could feel it was coming from a place of more than just hatred. I could understand the trust issues, the feelings of betrayal etc etc between them.
I adored Reid and all his gruffness - even if he was a complete dick at times.
I did like this story, but I did feel that things were dragged out, which made the book toooo long. I know it sounds like I didn't like it, but that is not the case, it just needed chopping done to it. I mean, it is a LRJ book so of course I will like it.
I am looking forward to the next books to come.

I haven't met a Rachel Van Dyken book yet that I haven't liked, and that streak continues with Dirty Exes.
This is Ian from the Matchmaker's Playbooks little sister Blaire's story, and we do get a couple of glimpses of Ian in this story too.
What a great start to the Liars Inc story, and if this is what we can expect from the rest of the series, I am hooked.
Blaire is a little heartbroken and a lot p!ssed off - and as I read I couldn't blame her.
Jessie is her new target for her PI business, and whilst I know I am supposed to love him, ugh nope, it was always all about Colin for me. This may sound like a love triangle -or love square really with other people involved - but really it isn't.
There is a little bit of everything in this story. It is a great mix of laugh, drama, romance. Full of friendship, second chances, and dirty cheating liars.
I liked it so much I read it in one sitting.
This could well turn out to be a favourite series from Ms Van Dyken, and I can't wait to see what she brings us next.

Yessssss! I love diving back into Stark World. I just can't get enough of Damien, Nikki and their brood.
Please Me is a short, quick read that I devoured in no time at all. I will take every scrap of N & D that Ms Kenner will give us.
I am just hoping for the day that someone isn't out to get them lol
I love seeing our darlings with their growing family, their extended family and friends. (I neeeeeed more of Ryan and Jamie ASAP!)
There is more great set up for the Stark Security Series- which I can't wait to get my hand on.
There was only one thing wrong with this novella - it was still too short!
To quote Britney - give me more, give me give me more!

Hmm, where to start with this one.
This is one of those books that I wanted to love but just kinda liked. I am wondering if it is because of the age of the characters and my age (old fart here), if that is a big part of my problems with it. Or the fact that I am also listening to a NA hockey book with characters only a few years older than this book and it is making the characters seem so much more immature.
I think we are supposed to love Molly, the girl that gets the hot guy everyone is after. I had mixed feeling about her. She is a kind of mix between Regina George and Cady Heron from Mean Girls to me.
I didn't like that Molly took more notice of what her friends said than thinking for herself, doing what she wanted for herself. Her best friend Jenna is just a horrible person. What kind of girl a) talks about all the hot guys around her, right when her boyfriend is sitting next to her? Dude, dump her arse! and b) practically dry humps the leg of the guy her BFF is seeing? I just really, really disliked the girl.
I found that there were so many unlikable people in this book. Molly's brother, Weston's dad - both cut from the same cloth, and that fabric is ugly
It felt like that even at the end of the book, I had seen no real growth in the main characters, with the exception of a few ILY's thrown in there.
Ugh , it has really thrown me this book. I will be going on to read the next books - maybe I am just a grump old woman with this one.

Firstly, let me say that I am not usually one to really look at covers, but Penelope Ward does come out with some amazing, hot covers. I licked him, he's mine!
Ryder and Montana met online - nothing unusual about that in this day and age - except they didn't meet the normal way online if that makes sense!
I liked their connection, the way their relationship developed, online and in real life.
I like that Ryder, who is who he is in Hollywood, doesn't come across as the spoiled Hollywood brat. He seems, *gasp*, normal. And I like it. A lot. I completely adore him.
"Montana" is everything that he never expects, and as her story unfolds she surprises me more than once.
I did like that there was no unnecessary drama with Love Online. There is this thing that happens in a lot of Penelope Ward's books that I was waiting for and was pleased when this time it didn't!
Sweet, sexy, tender and a bit of mystery thrown in for the reader, Love Online was an easy and fun read that I read in one sitting.
I can't wait to see what Ms Ward brings us next.

It has been a while since I have read a Jaci Burton story, and I have not read any of the previous Hope book, however this did not affect my enjoyment of One Perfect Kiss.
Zack and Josie's story is sweet and cute and adorable and just the light read that I needed this past weekend after reading a few emotionally draining stories in a row.
I loved the support characters (even though I hadn't read any of their stories), they are all well rounded and added a lot of depth to the story.
I did get a bit frustrated with Josie's flip-flopping between wanting Zach and then whining about how her ex hurt her and how Zack would too. I wanted to talk some sense into her!
I am a big fan of stories with characters that are animal lovers - makes me miss my old girl but makes me smile!
I really enjoyed my tour of Hope, Oklahoma, and I have already added some of the previous books to my kindle.
Can't wait to see what Ms Burton brings us next.

This is my second Fiona Palmer read, and I will definitely be reading more in the future.
The synopsis of Sisters and Brothers intrigued me, and once I started reading I was completely intrigued with Bill and his extended "family".
Set in both 1975 and present day, this story revolves around 72 year old Bill, however is a series of interconnected stories with Bill at the heart.
Now Bill, he liked to get around in 1975 it seems lol. Emma, Michelle, Adam and Sarah's live all come together as they learn of their paternity.
I enjoyed each and every one of the children's stories, however I feel that Emma's grabbed me more emotionally than the others. I am not sure why this is, as they are all beautiful, heartfelt stories, however it just is.
Heartbreaking, emotional, yet full of hope, Ms Palmer has taken us on a wonderful journey of love, forgiveness, hope, acceptance.
I thoroughly enjoyed Sisters and Brothers, and I can't wait to see what Ms Palmer brings us next.
