I have not read the first Dirty Rich story (Dirty Rich One Night Stand) however this has not affected my understanding or enjoyment of Dirty Rich Cinderella Story at all.
Cole and Lori's story is a modern day Cinderella, strangers passing in the night only to find each other again.
I love Lori's strength, even if at times she takes the "strong, independent woman who needs nobody's help" to extremes and I got frustrated with her. I could understand why she is how she is, however I just want her to take the helping hand being offered - no strings attached.
Cole is just all kinds of swoonworthy. From the first time our lover's worlds collide I knew he was going to be become a favourite LRJ character.
Ms Jones has written some amazing series with 2 or 3 or more stories in them, however I am really liking her stand alones.
Strong characters, enjoyable story line, I read this book in one sitting. I can't wait to see where she takes us next.

I have been a #NanHater from the minute she first appeared in this series, waaay back in the day. She has not failed me to date in her bitchiness, her snide comments, just her total being.
#NanHaterForLife
And then about 20% into Up In Flames, the impossible happened. I felt sorry for Nan.
Say what??? Where the heck did that come from? I don't want to feel sorry for her. I don't want to like her. I must be getting sick, right? Must have a fever? This can be the only sane reason why I am feeling this way.
I felt sorry for the way the men in her life treated her. I guess that since we were finally getting into her headspace, my feelings about her were destined to change. As much as I didn't want to, I saw the softer, more caring side of Nan. I wanted to think that all the crappy things that were happening to her now, the way guys treated her was karma's way of getting back at her for all the sh!tty things she had done to those around her in the past.
"All men were liars. Even the bighearted, pretty ones."
But in the end, I was cheering for her. You read that right. Cheering. For. Nan!
I was glad she finally saw in herself that she deserved more. That she deserved to love and be loved. That her past did not have to define her future.
And lo and behold, I may have even shed a tear or two for her. I am still shaking my head at that one!
Ms Glines did the unthinkable, the impossible. She made me not despise Nan with every fibre in my being. Nan owned all the things she did. In her own way, she was even realising that it was never too late to make up for it, to make amends with those she has hurt.
Well played Ms Glines, well played.
I will never love Nan as a character, she did way too many things, hurt way too many people in the past for that. But she garnered my sympathy. I hoped that she got her HEA (my god it was hard to write that!)
I am going to miss the guys and gals from Rosemary Beach, but I am looking forward to what Ms Glines brings us next.

Like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally... yes, yes ,YES we are back in Vermont and the Shipley family.
I was over the moon when I found out we were getting more of the True North series, and as much as I have adored Griff Shipley in the past, I think his sister May is now my favourite Shipley out there.
Speakeasy is full of fun and sexy times, and full of heartbreak and frustration and gah, just everything
I adore Alec. I love how he goes for what he wants, that he understands May, even when she doesn't understand herself.
Griff though, ugh. He was such a douche to both May and Alec at times in this story - but I still can't help but love Gruff Griff!
Speakeasy also tackles some serious issues and they hurt my heart that our characters were dealing with these issues, however I was their biggest cheerleader.
Sweet, sexy, fun romance that I read in one go as I couldn't put it down.
Ms Bowen has made me want to drink cider - and beer - and I don't like either of them. It think it is time to plan a trip to Vermont.
I can't wait to see what she brings us next.

This book! I finished reading The Surviving Girls last night, and my heart is still racing.
Lei and Emma's story is one that will have you looking over your shoulder, wondering at every bump in the night and give you hyper-alert senses.
Their story is not a fun one - the past decade has been a world of horrors, but as a reader you can't help but cheer that they are finally starting to move on in life - as much as they can.
But boy, Ms Robert really has ratcheted up the evil that is the killer in The Surviving Girls. He is a sick f^*k , a complete psychopath.
Every turn of the page I had my heart in my throat. Who is this killer? Who can you trust? Is everyone who they say they are.
I won't lie, I had a couple of people I thought were the killer as I read, however nothing was revealed until Ms Robert really had me worked up.
Even writing this review I am getting all anxious for the characters again - well played Ms Robert!
I don't want to give anything away, but boy this one had me on the edge of my seat.
Can't wait t see what Ms Robert brings us next.

This is the first Miranda Liasson book I have read, and what a sweet, pleasant surprise it was.
I am a sucker for small town stories, a frenemies to lovers story, a second chance at love story, and Then There Was You had a little bit of it all.
Sara and Colton's story is sweet, tender and a whole lotta adorable. They have been destined to come together, even if it has taken a lot of years, and oh my I couldnt' help but be their biggest cheerleader.
Family, douchey exes, so many things that could conspire against them getting their HEA, but fight for it. Even when they are just plain old fighting.
I adored the small town-y vibe to this story, where everyone knows everyone's business, everyone has everyone's back.
Wonderful characters, endearing story, I read this book in one afternoon.
I will be going back to read Ms Liasson's earlier works, and look forward to more of this new-to-me author in the future.

I won't lie - I had to go back and read my review of Tycoon to remember what the deal was with these books - but's that just me and my terrible Bookzheimer's!
Then, there is that cover that is so pretty it makes a girl forget things (and I am not one to really even look at covers)
I really enjoyed Ian and Sara's story. From a no-names one night stand that rocks their world to the end, Mogul is a sweet and sexy fun romance.
We did quickly meet Ian for a nanosecond in Tycoon, and now we have his whole story, from his PITA ex to his exploits with Sara.
Sara though, she felt just a little too insecure and a little too woe-is-me at times, but I adore her still.
I did like that there is no OTT drama, no big reveal that would tear our lovelies apart (well, crazy exes excepted) and I adored that they w
I love the exploits of Sara, Bryn (from Tycoon) and Bryn's best friend Becka - and ooooh I can't wait for Becka's story, I think hers is going to be the best of the bunch!
Sweet, sexy, funny story, I read this in one evening as I couldn't put it down.

I have said it before and I will say it again, an Ainslie Paton book is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.
One Night Wife starts with a meet-cute that will have you smiling from ear to ear, and then the games begin.
Finley and Caleb's story isn't the usual strangers-meet-in-a-bar story. I adore Finley, and Caleb is all kinds of gorgeous.
I love the grifter storyline, it is smart and witty and not something I have read a lot of. I love the player getting played - or do they?
A modern day play on Robin Hood, One Night Wife played me, had me hooked and lead me on for the long con. And I adored it.
I can't wait to see what Ms Paton brings us next.

Tara Sivec is at her hilarious best with her new Naughty Princess Club series.
We are back with Isabelle and Beast's story now, and I wasn't sure what tack this book was going to take. What tack it did take was one right to my funny bone!
I think I have always connected more with Belle in this series - I think it is just that I want a library, damnit! I adore her quirkiness, I love her shyness, however I also love how she grabs life by the curlies and goes for it.
Then there is Beast. Oh my! I mean, he was fun in the background of the first book, but this guy! Gah, he is amazing.
Full of fun, sexy, flirty moments, these ladies will have you laughing out loud with their antics.
I am really, really wanting Ariel's story. She had no filter and it is going to be a fun ride as she finds her HEA

Make sure you have your dentist on speed dial, as Just Say Yes i so so sweet it will give you a toothache.
Soctt and Becca's second chance at love is cute and sweet (yes, that word again) and you just want to hug everyboy all the time.
I did like that their breakup wasn't all drama, and that when they reconnected they acted like adults.
One thing that bugged me, but probably won't anyone else was the "babe" factor. Every conversation had too much of "hey babe?" "Yes honey?" "pass the sugar babe" and it got a bit eyeroll worthy for me -but like I said, this is probably just a me thing.
This is the first Samantha Lind book I have read, and will be going on to read more of the Eagles series.

Sigh.. I liked Freddie in Exploration, but I freaking adore him in Challenge.
There sure are challenges in this story. Challenges for a single dad. Family challenges. Challenges to make a relationship work.
And Quinn Ward has her characters tackle these challenges head on an and at full throttle. I loved the way they created a relationship, got over their issues from the past, and even with all their baggage they moved forward like adults, with no ridiculous "misunderstandings and miscommunications".
I am completely enamoured with this family, and as I get my greedy little mitts on each book, I devour them.
I can't wait for the next brother's book.
