I loved all the duets in the Checkmate duets series, so diving in to the Bishop Brother series was a no brainer.

This is a kinda spinoff from the Checkmate Duets - but derpy me, I got right to the end before I got the connection to Courtney (from the Courtney + Drew duet). Total facepalm moment when I got it lol

Alex and River's story is sweet and sexy and steamy. Right from the get go the reader knows it is never going to be just a one night stand, and the whoops can be seen from a mile off, however the way they deal with it is good.

Not gonna lie, for as much as Alex is family oriented, I was not a fan of his mama. I wanted to scream at he for being such a judgemental cow - I know she's southern woman but holy crap I hated the way the reacted to things. If I were River I would have told her off . But maybe I am just a bitch.

I adored the banter between Alex and is best friend and is brothers, made me laugh out loud at times.

However, something just didn't gel with me. At times, the story just seemed to draaaaag out, and it seemed like I would never get to the end

But this could just be me!

I am looking forward to more Bishop Brothers in the future.

Holy Shitballs Batman!

I new from the blurb that this was going to be a darker, heavier read, and it was just what I was after.

Liam and Eden's story is not all hearts and flowers. It is mobsters, it is secrets and lies, it is always looking over your shoulder.

Liam is not your every day knight in shining armour - more like the guy you don't know whether you should run from or to. As we learn more about him the more I liked him.

Eden is seeing more of the down and dirty side of life. Everyone seem shady. Who can she trust? Love, lies, greed all pack a punch in Double Vision.

Smart writing, intelligent, suspenseful plot, great characters, Double Vision is another great read from Ms Halloran.

Can't wait to see what she brings us next.

This 3rd installment of the Conflict of Series is a quick, suspenseful and sexy read.

I liked the reversal in the balance of power between Trinity and Callum, with her being the boss and him just starting out in his career. The attraction between them is undeniable, and whilst I could understand her reluctance to start anything, you just knew she wouldn't hold out forever.

I just adored Callum. We have met him in the earlier books, but now, oh my! That smirk - no wonder Trinity can't resist.

Ms Fernando turns up the heat when our lovelies end up in close quarters, and I just couldn't help but love it.

Ms Fernando is one of my aut0-buy authors, and can't wait to see what she brings us next.

I haven't read any of the Elite Ops series so I thought it would be a safe bet to start with the Brute series.

Unfortunately it felt like I was missing so much and that it was another SO book.

The story jumped all over the place and I never really knew where I was at. I dound myself skimming great chunks of it o to the end - I did nearly DNF it.

I didn't connect with either of the MAc which also made it hard to get into the story.

I listened to the audio of The Playboy Bachelor.

I didn't think I would like Bentley's story as much as i did. It was a deeper, darker, more emotional story than the first one, and I loved it.

The narration was good, loved having the dual narrators. They drew me into the story, kept me listening.

I love the banter between the brothers, can't help but swoon a little over Bentley, and can't help but hurt a little for Brant. Can't wait to see where his story goes.

Wow. Just wow!

Hunter is amazing! Smart, sexy, suspenseful - I was hooked right from the get go.

When the Hunter becomes the hunted, who knows where things will end up. Secrets, lies, betrayal and revenge play a big part in Hunter and Emma's lives, and as a reader you are taken along on one heck of a journey, never knowing who you can trust.

This is a big step away from what we have had from Ms Summers in the past - and what a great step it is!

I hope she takes us down this road more in the future.

Woohoo, time to head back to North Carolina and spend some time with the hockey hotties from the Cold Fury.

Reed is a very sweet, very cute friends to FWB to more story that I read in one evening.

Ms Bennett had me laughing in the first chapter (hello Screaming Barbie) and the wallbanging moments, and I was hooked from then on.

I adore Reed and Josie. From their first interactions I just loved their banter. The chemistry between our lovelies was off the charts, and I couldn't help but need them to be more.

I love Reed's banter with his team mates. We don't get much hockey in this one - hey, they boys need a break after winning Sir Stanley - however we still do get most of the lads and their ladies. I love love loved getting more of where Alex and Sutton were at in particular (oh, it seems so long ago that we were introduced to them!)

What I particularly liked was that that there was no drama for drama's sake. Did Reed and Josie have their problems? Sure, who doesn't. But they acted like adults and sorted their sh!t out!

I have said that a few books ago the quality in this series had disappointingly dropped (to me anyways) so it is great to say that Reed is up there with the best of the series.

We have great set up for the next book, Marek. Oh boy, this is going to be a story and a half. Is it May yet?

Bring it on Ms Bennett, bring it on!

An Irishman and a Scotsman meet in a restaurant.

No, there is no punchline, I just want to be sitting between them listening to them talk. Sigh, those accents .

From the minute we meet him, you can't help but fall for the adorable Liam Donnelly. He is unsure of so many things in his life. Changes in his career, he is unsure of himself - who he is, what he wants. He is stumbling his way through life at the moment.

Enter Lachlan and oh my! This is the start of Liam's bisexual awakening, and we are taken on his journey of attraction, lust, confusion and hopefully, love.

It is not all easy for Lachlan either. He has his own crosses to bear when it comes to Liam, and I for one was glad that he does not let himself become a doormat. He sticks up for what he wants ,no matter what.

Break Down is a beautiful, heartwarming story, and definitely my favourite in this series so far.

Can't wait to see what Ms Norinne brings us next.

Hockey hotties? Check!
M/M? Check!
May to December romance? Check!

I have read all of the Chicago Rebels books so far, but Undone By You was my favourite by far (to date anyway!)

Dante and Cade's story was everything I could have wanted for Dante after meeting him in the earlier books.

It was fun, flirty and sexy, with plenty of banter between Dante and Cade, and also a lot of heartbreak and hurt.

I loved being taken along Cade's journey, as both a hockey star and as a gay man in a manly-man sport, still full of homophobia and bigotry.

I read this book in one sitting as I just couldn't put it down.

Can't wait to see what Ms Meader brings us next.
