All's fair in love and work, right?

Right from their first meet, I adored Evie and Carter. They are quirky, and fun and oh my the sparkage between them.

Then the office comes into play. Now working together, fighting for the same job, things get murky -but through it all they still like each other.

Christina Lauren nailed the office politics, the misogyny still prevalent in industry today, the cutthroat Hollywood industry.

I did get a giggle out of the prank wars - we've all been there, done that right/

There is a delicious tension, a push/pull between our lovelies that just has the reader gasping for me, needing them to find their way from friends-to-frememies-to lovers.

Dating You / Hating You does lack the heat that we have come to expect from a CL novel, however that is not a bad thing either, as we get all the sweet and adorable this girl could want.

Can't wait to see what these lovely ladies bring us next.

I have adored every word written by Brooke Blaine so far, so the chance to read an early copy of her new MM book was a no brainer.

MM is my jam - I seriously can't get enough of it, and can't get enough of Lucas and Jackson.

I love a second chance romance, and A Little Bit Like Love swept me away with the raw emotion and love and lust our boys have for each other.

I liked that there wasn't too much OTT drama and angst - sure there were some issues, that is why they were away from each other, however it is real issues that were relatable.

The sexual tension is through the roof - this girl is still fanning herself a couple of days after reading. With all that spark, you just knew that things were going to be hot hot hot once they got to that place.

Jackson and Lucas have an epic journey to get back to each other, and each and every page is a delicious insight into their lives, leaving me anxious and gasping with anticipation at what would happen with them next.

Now I am tapping my foot, impatiently waiting for the second book in the South Haven series.

This is the 3rd in the Rescue Dog Romance series, and focuses on wedding planner Zoe.

Well, this book really is a comedy of errors/a series of unfortunate events/series of disasters that keep on rolling one after the other.

It has humour, romance and dose of mystery thrown in there too. Nothing like a bit (or maybe a lot) of misdirection to keep the reader guessing.

Throw in wannabe rockstar Owen and his pursuit of our hapless leading lady, and you are in for a rollicking ride. He can stalk me any day he wants :D

I did feel that for a little while in the middle of the book, it did lose its way - but this could just be me. It felt like Zoe was forever dealing with the same kind of disaster, over and over. However once it got itself out of that loop things progressed well.

I adored seeing more of the characters from the first 2 books, the way their stories kept on developing through this third book.

I really have enjoyed this series, now I can't wait to see what Casey Griffin brings us next.

I liked that it wasn't an easy guess for the whodunnit part of the storyline. Yeah, I had my suspicions but that was all they were.

The stars of these stories, however, is the dachsunds. Might have made me want another dog (for a second or two anyway!)

Sapphire, and the entire Bratva Jewel series is a huge step away from what we have come to know and love with Ms Low's Dirty Texas series.

Gone are the fun loving rockers, and we are thrown in with dark and gritty events that can at times be hard to read.

Zoe - now for a lot of the book I couldn't decide whether she was the luckiest alive, or the unluckiest. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but she does got through some stuff in that first half of the book.

I am not going to lie though, I did have a few issue with this book. The first 40% did have a few eye-roll worthy moments, however as the book progresses and things settled down those stopped. I felt that Ms Low was always telling us, not showing us. For example Tomas and Mateo were always telling us how strong and wonderful and great Zoe is, but we were never shown this (until very late in the story) But this might just be me.

Tomas and Mateo - hooley dooley, they are hot together, throw Zoe into the mix and things just go from hot to fiery inferno!

There is plenty to keep the reader on the edge of their seat, and Sapphire does touch on some dark and touchy subject, however for the dark there is light, and it kept me reading in one sitting.

I am looking forward to seeing where this series goes.

We met our protaganists Lowe and Mely in the first book in the first book, Ain't He Precious, however you could read Stubborn As A Mule as a standalone, but why would you want to?

Our lovelies are both pig headed and stubborn, which makes for a lot of fun - for those outside their range of fire.

I adore Lowe - in the first book I felt he was a little bit of a spoiled brat, but in this one we get more of why he acts like he does, and it is all kinds of great.

Mely is the outsider moving into town - gah, do I know that feeling, having moved from the city to a small town a while ago. You can't help but like her thought. And when her gay best friend comes to visit, oh he is al sorts of awesome. Reminds me a little bit of LaFayette from True Blood (may he RIP) crossed with RuPaul's Drag Race.

I love the small town vibe, the cute and quirky characters - especially Lowe's family- they just crack me up.

I know Juliette Poe is the sweeter side of Sawyer Bennett, but I did miss the heat that we come to expect from her writing - but that is just me and my pervy side!

Stubborn As A Mule is sweet and cute and adorable, and I can't wait to see what comes next in Whynot.

Every time I see the title of this book, I get Justin Timberlake singing Love and Sex and Magic running through my head - please tell me I am not the only one?

Love, Sex, Music is a little different from the other rock star books we have had from Ms Valentine.

This is more behind the scenes and pop oriented - though it still has a lot of the sex and drugs and rock and roll to it.

From the minute we meet Aundrea - Drea - I freaking loved her. She had a smart mouth and attitude to go with it, but I just knew there was more to her than just that.

Lazarus Rawlings had it all, lost it all and was fighting his way back to the top - and Drea is a big part of that.

Oh Laz, what a guy. Yes he is cocky, but not so cocky that you love to hate him. You just want to jump on him... I mean love on him ... I mean love him.

The spark between our lovelies is enough to set the room on fire. I adore them as they deny it, as they fight it, as they give in to it.

Ms Valentine had me anxious to turn each page, as things from both Laz and Drea's lives come to the fore. I needed to know what happened next, and had me up way past my bedtime finishing this story.

Love, Sex, Music is a sweet, sexy, fun read, and I would love to see more of these characters in the future.

All Or Nothing At All is the final book in the Billionaire Builders series, and Ms Probst has left the best till last.

I adore Sydney. She is smart and funny and feisty, and one heck of a single mum. I could completely understand why she did things how she did.

Tristan. Hmmm, Tristan. As much as I wanted to love you, I can tell you that for most of the story I disliked you. You are stubborn, and rude, and at times a complete and utter douche canoe!

This installment of the Billionaire Builders was a lot more emotional than the first 2.5 books. Heart wrenchingly so at times. I wanted to throw my Kindle across the room in frustration, I cussed out Tristan many a time, I laughed. Ran the whole gamut of emotions.

I loved getting more of Cal, Dalton, Brady and their lucky ladies, and felt that Ms Probst rounded out this series well.

Can't wait to see what she brings us next.

We have had quite a wait for this book (not the author's fault) and boy was it worth it.

I had been intrigued by Bryan "Brute" Munro in the first 2 books in the series, and he was everything - and more - that I wanted him to be.

He is hot, sexy, mercurial AF - and all of the women (including this one!) want him!

Pamela, or Ella, is one "non-orgasm" hook up from quitting the Vault of Sin.

Gah, I read this book in one afternoon, I didn't want to put it down.

Brute and Ella are hot hot hot when they do their thing, however there is so much more to their stories than sex club antics.

There is a delicious push/pull between them that keeps the reader constantly on edge, wondering if there will be more between our lovelies.

They need more. I need more.

I loved getting a glimpse into the lives of Leo and Shay (Shot Of Sin) and TJ and Cassie (Union Of Sin

Oh how I have missed them all.

Brute and Pamela's story is hot and sexy, sweet and at times sad, and I just couldn't put it down once I started.

Now I am impatiently waiting for what Ms Summers brings us next.

A dark retelling of Alice In Wonderland - sure, why not!

Alex In Wonderland is a step away from the fun, flirty and sexy tales we have had from the dynamic duo that is Max Monroe to date, but change is a good thing!

Alex Little really does fall down the rabbit hole when she meets Matt Hadder - and she took me all the way with her!

Matt is all kinds of adorable - for a criminal/gangter/mob guy (not really quite sure how to describe Wonderland Inc). Yet he is sweet and kind and there is such a juxtaposition between the business man and Alex's man.

Now I am not going to lie, I did get a little confused at times as there were so many characters involved (but that could just me and my bookzheimery brain) I had to keep stopping and remember who these people were - but I finally got my head around them all in the end!

Don't go into this expecting a story like Wes, Thatch or Kline's. This is a dark-rom-com if that makes sense?

However these Twisted Fairytale stories are going to be ones that I am really going to enjoy. I need more.

I like the premise of this book - Charlie is a woman in a man's man world. It was refreshing to see a strong, badass woman kicking a$$ and taking names.

Add in uber-alpha Vince and things will start to heat up. They have been circling each other for a while now and I just needed them to get their act together. He is also ultra-protective of Charlie, and at times I could understand her frustration, but boy, what I wouldn't give for a man who treats me like he treats her.

Charlie, now her I had some trouble with. She frustrated me no end at times. Don't get me wrong, I love her badassness and fierceness, but then some of the things she said and did just gave me the irrits and I found myself rolling my eyes at her.

But this could just be me.

Now, I am not going to lie, I did nearly give up on this book. I am not sure what it was about it, but I had to keep forcing myself to pick it up and read it, and it took me 4 days to read when I read a book this length every night. However once it got to about 65% I found myself fully involved and read the rest in one sitting and was glad I pushed through.

The drama and suspense had me guessing right until the end.

I have not read the first 2 books in this series, however this did not affect my reading of Hard Justice.

I will read this author again in the future.
