I have not read the first book in this series, but this did not affect my enjoyment of Reckless Hearts.
William Wyatt Montgomery takes the bull by the horns when he has a chance encounter with Delilah. He makes a life changing decisions, seemingly on a whim, and from that moment on things are all the more better.
Delilah works her butt off to advance her career, but she plays just as hard in her down time. But it is all not strings attached, commitment free play.
I adore the spark and the banter between Dee and Will. They are smart and sassy, feisty and fun. But right from the start, you can feel there is more.
But the course to a happy ever after is not an easy one, and Delilah sure does make things difficult! Although I could kind of understand her reasoning, I wanted to slap some sense into her and tell her to pull her head out of her backside to see what was right in front of her.
Will is just swoonworthy! From the first word to the last I wanted a Will of my own!
There are some great secondary characters, some that I can go back and read and some that I am hoping for more of in the future.
Reckless Hearts is sweet, summer (or winter for me) read that I really enjoyed.
I can't wait to see what Ms Grace brings us next.

I love a good friends to lovers story. I love it even more when they have been friends for a long time. Add that it is also a second chance romance and I am all in.
Ours is a love people write stories about.
Unveilling Ghosts is Sherry and Hunter's story, from 10 years old to present day. I was pleasantly surprised with the character's voices as children. How many times have we read a book that goes back to their past, and the kids sounds exactly like they do as adults? Sherry and Hunter acted and felt like their ages at all times through their childhood - well done Ms Allison!
Their story is heartbreaking, but also heartwarming and full of hope. I am not going to lie, I shed a few tears as the story progressed, but I had the feeling that things were going to work out for our lovelies.
The story was beautiful and flowed seamlessly between past and present. It is deep, heartfelt, and just what I needed in my romance.
I can't wait to see what Ms Allison brings us next.

It has been a while since I have read a Kimberly Knight book, but what better way to dip the toe back into that pool than with By Invitation Only.
By Invitation Only is a sweet, sexy and fun story. Booker and Peyton's getting together isn't the norm, but their attraction sure is.
They have been on opposing sides of the court room for years, but now they are finally acting on their attraction. And boy is that attraction off the charts! And when they do more... **fanning myself**
I loved that it wasn't all easy for them. As much as I wanted them just to go for it, there were obstacles in their way to a HEA - or do they get one?
I love the bite and snark between our lovelies, it really is foreplay for them in the long run, and when they heat things up...
There are some great secondary characters in this story that I hope we get more of some day.
By Invitation is a spicy read, so let go of your inhibitions and take a chance on love.

I am late to the Ella Fox train, but I Don't was a great way to pop my Fox cherry.
I didn't know what to expect when I started reading, but Ava and Mateo's story, but I was pleasantly surprised, and read this book in one evening.
Mateo is seemingly all brusque and alpha and kind of a douche when we first meet him, but as the story progressed he really was kind of swoonworthy.
There is something from Ava's past that is stopping her from moving forward with her sexy Spaniard, and I am not going to lie, for a while there I thought I had come in halfway through the story. I did even double check that this was the first book in the series for a while there.
But this could just be me, and as the story continued it all made sense (I was probably just too impatient!)
There is a bit of intrigue playing out through the story, which is told in the past and present. I enjoyed seeing our lovelies in the past, as it gave great insight into the people they are today.
I laughed, I got frustrated, I smiled so hard as I read I Don't, and couldn't help but become Mateo's biggest cheerleader.
Now to see where Ms Fox takes us with the next books in this series.

Book 2 in the Risking It All series is a cute, sweet story that hits all the romance spots.
Ryan is the gorgeous guy Emma has been crushing on since she was a kid. Emma is Ryan's best friends little sister. Add in the promise Ryan made years ago to protect and never go after Emma and there really is a spanner thrown in the works!
I felt that our lovelies relationship developed organically. There was no big dramatic event that brought them together, it was just years of platonic love and friendship turning into something more. Sure, there were roadblocks to overcome, but this all felt natural.
The chemistry between Ryan and Emma is off the charts right from the get go. I tell you what, if Emma didn't jump on him when she did, I was going to jump into Haven and take him for myself (well, in my mind anyway!) I love the lingering looks across the room, the awkwardness, just all of it. He is the perfect amount of bad for her as she was the perfect amount of good for him.
I loved that we got more of the people from the first book (though I did struggle to remember where a couple of them fit in) and great set up for the 3rd book in the series.
Crazy for You is sweet, sexy and fun, and I can't wait for the next book.

A new series from Sawyer Bennett/Juliette Poe - let me at it!
Settle in with your ereader and a cup of sweet tea for this cute and sweet second chance romance.
Ain't He Precious kind of reminded me a little of that TV show Hart Of Dixie - I think it is just the small town southern thing there.
Trixie and Ry's story is full of sweet moments - though I had to shake my head at the pair of the, neither of them made a move to contact the other in over a decade? Pish! I wanted to slam their foreheads together to knock some sense into them!! But it does give us that will they won't they throughout the book.
I adore Trixie's family, particularly her grandpa Pap. He plays quite a big part in the story, with his POV occasionally thrown in. She also has lots of siblings whose stories we will get as the series grows. I have a feeling that her brother Lowe's story is going to be an interesting one.
This is a sweet, cute, sexy story about a beautiful southern town and the characters that make those towns so adorable. It is a quick read, and I wish I had more of it, but I am looking forward to the rest of the series.

Word of advice - do not decide to read the first chapter of Twist at your desk during your lunch break! If you are like me you will have to explain the shimmering eyes and upset face!
Right from the get go Twist gripped me vice like around the heart and didn't let go until I closed the book.
But from horrible beginnings, our lovelies Joe and Alex tell a wonderful story. It is not all sweetness and light, but as they forge a new relationship, all kinds of secrets come to the fore.
I loved that we got more of the Dive Bar crew - I may have LOL'd at Vaughan at times. I am still not rue what I think of Joe's brother Eric, but I do adore this rag tag bunch of friends.
I cannot confirm nor deny that our favourite rock stars may make an appearance too!
I laughed, I cried, I got angry (oh so angry at times!) but I could not put this book down.
No I am inpatiently waiting for the next book, Chaser!

M. Robinson, the Queen of Angst, has done it again. She has ripped my heart out and put it back together again, all in the space of one amazing book.
It seems like forever since we read Road To Nowhere - I know it hasn't been that long, but I have been needing to know what happened with Creed, Noah and Mia since the first book ended (you will need to read Road To Nowhere first)
Needless to say, Ms Robinson has not disappointed with the conclusion to their story. And things definitely were not as I was expecting.
"It. Ended. Here. What started with her. Ended with her."
Over and over I called out "oh no no no no no she can't do this to us!". But what else would we expect from M?
She kept me on the edge of my seat, wondering with the turn of each page what was going to happen, who Mia was going to end up with, I know who I wanted her to end up with, but who would you choose?
I don't want to say too much about the story, as it is something you need to completely completely immerse yourself in, and going in (kind of) blind is the best way to do it.
M. Robinson blows me away with each and every story she tells us. She takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, making you feel like you want to get off the ride, but needing to know how the ride ends at the same time.
Now I can't wait for the ride to start all over again with El Santo.

You could read Head-Tripped without reading the first book Road-Tripped, but so many characters cross over that you should read Road-Tripped to get the full effect of book 2.
It is no secret that I adored Road-Tripped last year, but with Head-Tripped, Ms Archer has turned things up a notch.
Effie is Callie from Road-Tripped's twin sister, and while at times they are as similar as twins can be, at other times there couldn't be a bigger gap between them.
I adored Effie from the get go. She is kind of a free spirit, go with the flow kind of woman. Musical genius, can pick up any instrument and learn it in days - this made me feel that she could possibly be on the Autism Spectrum? But that could just be me, as I have friends on the spectrum who can do the same with music and instruments?
I loved that she is in a darker place than her sister (that sounds terrible, doensn't it) but she is fighting every day against her demons and to make a better life for herself. It felt real, gritty, raw.
Enter Elias - from the get go I loved that he didn't play on his fame. In fact hiding it just made him all the more adorable.
I loved the connection between Elias and Effie right from their first meeting, both drawn to the other.
There is so much going on between our lovelies, but also so much going on around them, conspiring to keep them apart. There are some characters that I loathed - hated them so much that I was mentally wishing harm on them so they would go away!
I couldn't help but hope that Elias and Effie could make it through all the road blocks they were faced with.
"This wasn't going to last. Bliss never lasted - it disappeared in an instant."
Head-Tripped kind of was a head trip. It was funny and sweet, but dark and twisted at the same time.
I can't wait to see what Ms Archer brings us next.

Fight you for Damien - I win!
Yes! More Nikki and Damien!
I am not going to lie, I have been a Starkie since I first started reading this series, and each and every story makes me fall for him even more.
I quickly read Entice Me before I dived into Anchor Me, and I am glad that I did, because Anchor Me continues on right from the end.
Still so much going on in Nikki and Damien's world, just when you think things will finally run smoothly for them, another obstacle is thrown in their way. Ugh, I wanted to throw something AT the obstacles this time!
We saw a softer side of Damien this time, one that made me shed a tear or two - oh heck, who am I kidding, I may have cried like a baby at one time!
There's not much I can say without giving something away about Anchor Me. As much as I loved where our lovelies are at the end of Anchor Me, I am so glad that we will be getting more later on.
Anchor Me is sweet, sexy, suspensey read that i couldn't put down once I started.
I loved it. I need more.
