I adored the Bad Boys of Baseball series by Ms Rose, and I feel that I am going to adore this spinoff series, Hard to Play, just as much.
Hard to Hold is a sweet, sexy contemporary sports romance - You know what they say, those who can't play read about it!
I love that the series is about football (soccer) players rather than the baseball/NFL series I read so much of - mostly because this is something I can understand!!
I loved that the twist in the tale - a surprise baby! - came at the beginning of the book not at the end.
Logan Hart has it all. Successful, sexy - and now a single dad. Isabella is the hot nanny that housewives all over would worry about - not that she is that kind of woman.
With all that heat in the kitchen, somethings has gotta give.
"Logan sounds like he might be easy to catch, but hard to hold."
I loved that we got glimpses of some characters from the Bad Boys series, and am looking forward to more of the Hurricanes boys.
Can't wait to see what Ms Rose brings us next.

From the minute I read the synopsis of this book a little while ago, I knew that this was going to be one I would definitely be reading.
I also knew it was going to be an emotional read.
And it was that and so much more.
From the first word to the last, I was swept away with this story. A truly beautiful second chance love story.
Rylie's story is as tragic as it is beautiful. So many things have happened to her in her life - but all of those things brought her back to her first love -sigh. Who doesn't remember their first love.
Quentin is a broken soul, childhood hurts are still affecting him today.
But Rylie coming back into his life could be just what they both need.
"You are my heart. You are my saviour. You are my sky."
As I turned each and every page, I hoped, I needed Rylie and Quentin to make it.
There are some great secondary characters in Watching The Sky Cry. I adored Rylie's family, how close they are even through all the adversity.
Something about Rylie's brother called out to me. At times it was like we were kindred spirits. I have been through some of the things he goes through, and it made it so easy for me to connect with him.
The was also a twist in the tale that I certainly did not see coming! I hope hope hope we get more of that story somewhere in the future.
J.B Hartnett has poured her heart and soul into Watching The Sky Cry, and you can feel it with every tear, every kiss, every word.
I can't wait to see what she brings us next.

Oh what a tangled web we weave! Secrets, little white lies, they all come back to haunt us eventually.
Felicity (Flick), Emma and Genevieve (Neve), best friends, and they tell each other everything.. right?
That is until their secrets start to emerge, and they each have to deal with the consequences.
Will they tear their friendships apart, or will it bring them closer, that is the question.
As I turned each and every page, I was anxious to know what would happen to each of the lovely ladies, their families, their friends. I felt their anger, their pain, their sorrow. I felt their happiness, their hope, their dreams coming to fruition.
I laughed, I cried, I got angry and sad. And I had hope in my heart that each and every one of them would get the outcome that they wanted.
There is one of these that I feel that their story is not completed yet? And I hope that we get more of it sometime in the future.
Ms Johns took me on a journey of hope, fun, laughter and discovery from one side of the world to the other. I became completely engrossed in the tale she was telling, and I can't wait to see what she brings us next.

Yes! A new Catherine Bybee book - it doesn't matter what I have read of hers, I just adore it.
Not Quite Perfect is just that. Mary and Glen's relationship is not perfect - but it is perfect for them.
From sexy flirtations, witty banter, snarky, biting comments. This is all extended foreplay for our lovelies.
I love that Mary is independent. She takes no crap from anyone, and won't ask for help even when she really should.
Glen is the playboy pilot, commitment phobe... or has he just not met the right woman.
There is so much sexual tension between this pair, everyone around them can feel it, can see what is going to happen between this pair... will they or won't they?
I love how Ms Bybee weaves all of the characters from her series together. Walt and Dakota (from book 4, Not Quite Forever) play a big part in Mary and Glen's story, and I loved getting more of their story.
There is suspense, love, laughs - but no angst! - Not Quite Forever. I kinda had an idea of some things that would happen, but nothing was revealed until Ms Bybee wanted us to know.
Not Quite Perfect is a sweet summer (or winter!) read, leaving a smile on my face when I had finished.
Can't wait to see what Ms Bybee brings us next.

I have been enthralled by the Enthrall Sessions series since it first started, and eagerly dove into reading Enthrall Secrets.
If you have read the series, you will have already met Scarlet Winters – but if you haven’t, you could read as a stand alone.
I have been intrigued by dominatrix Scarlet since we first met her as a side character, but now we have her story. She seems to have a nurturing, kind soul, but we never have learned much about her other than as the dominatrix.
I enjoyed getting to know her. Her early years see her on a shaky kind of path, and that path leads her to become the domme she is today. We see the nervous but eager to please submissive bloom into the amazing woman she is today.
There is so much emotion in this book. Love, loss, heartbreak.... and hope.
Ms Fewings develops her characters and stories well. The intensity, the drama, the emotions all leap off the pages, drawing the reader into the lives of her creations. They have become like friends as the series progresses, and I am left wanting to know more about where their lives are headed.
I hope we get more in the future.

Woohoo another Ward/Keeland collaboration has hit my Kindle!
And as with the previous 2 (Cocky Bastard and Stuck Up Suit) I was hooked from the first word to the last.
A meeting at an airport, an adventure around the world - who wouldn't want to just fly away on a "Magical Mystery Tour"?
That is "A Day In The Life" of Kendall Sparks. She has some serious soul searching to do, but why not do that as she is "Flying" .
Carter is the playboy pilot - been there and done that with all the sky slut cabin crews, he is not one to be tied down. And he has this theory.
"If you think about almost any given moment in life, there's a Beatles song that can describe it."
I freaking love this theory and plan to try it out.
From their first moment, I could just feel the attraction leap off the page. But it is so much more than that.
Kendall and Carter together are just a thing of beauty. They are fun, they are feisty, they are sweet and sexy.
There was so much more to Carter though. "Every Little Thing" he did made me a little more enamoured with him. But for Kendall "It's All Too Much" and at the first hurdle she is outta there.
Grrr why do they do that? It is called communication people! Just do it!
But I guess it is a "Long and Winding Road" to true love and happiness, so a few road blocks should be able to be overcome... Will they "Get Back" together?
For that you will have to read for yourself!
Playboy Pilot is a fun, sexy, sweet and adorable story that left me wanting more I reckon I could read this book "Eight Days A Week" and never get tired of it.

Yes! We are back in San Francisco with the weird and wonderful group of friend from the Pier Building, and this time Willa is the lucky lady to try her luck at the magic fountain, and hopefully find true love.
Willa, with her wonderful pet store and quirky nature is just adorable.
Keane is the guy that you want to hate on Willa's behalf, but just can't do it. Is he an ar$ehole, or is he a nice guy? I mean, he is looking after his aunt's devil cat, so he can't be all bad, right?

I love the back and forth between our lovelies (though maybe there was a bit too much back and forth and not enough sexy times!) . I loved that Willa didn't give in too easily, she made Keane work for what he wanted.
The best part about these books though is the circle of friends that live/work in their building. It is kind of like Friends meets Melrose Place (minus the bitch slaps!) and it makes me want to move there.
I want to move there, drink and play darts at Finn's pub, hang out with Eddie (though not with his mistletoe!) and just hang out with the gang.
But sigh, I guess I will just have to live vicariously through their stories and with they were real!
Can't wait for the next book in this sweet, sexy and adorable series.

As a New South Austrian, I loved this book from the first word to the last - but then again, Lesley Jones captivates me every single time.
Liam and Sarah's didn't have me in the corner, rocking back and forward in a crying mess like her other books, it did bring out all the emotions. I laughed out loud, I was happy, I was sad, I was frustrated and angry and I may have yelled at her a few times as I was reading.
I enjoyed the banter between the characters, the way they bitch at each other like only close friends can.
And what do we always say - secrets never remain secrets and things never go well when they are revealed. Communicate people!!
I love love loved Liam - even when I didn't like him at times.
There were some great secondary characters that I would love to learn more of.
So now Ms Jones I need more. This week would be good!

I was not sure what to expect when I picked up Levi's Blue, but being a M. Leighton book, I knew it would be good.
And it was more than good.
From the first word to the last I was drawn into the of Evian de ChampLain - Evie. She was not our usual heroine. I tell you what, she really is the master of making lemonade out of the lemons life has thrown her way. Made me feel a bit bad about the things I whinge and whine about in life (come on, we all do it!)
From the moment we meet Levi I was hooked. There was just something about the man that I couldn't help but adore. And even though part of his and Evie's storyline was quite predictable, it was how we got there and where we were taken afterwards that kept me intrigued.
There were some great secondary characters, but there were also some characters that I wanted to slap with my kindle.
Ms Leighton has created a beautiful, colourful, wonderful world that made me see things in a completely different way. It has made me want to (when it finally stops raining here) take the time out to just sit, close my eyes and listen to the world.
Levi's Blue is a beautiful and at times heartbreaking romance, and has left me wanting more.
I can't wait to see what Ms Leighton brings us next.
