DNF at 40%. I was having a lot of great expectations from this book since it's about the amazing fae but alas it turned out to be horrendous. While the idea of the story was good I can't help thinking if the reason Rook got all mad and fiery towards Isobel was because she saw sorrow in his eyes, and that's a bit...lame ?? Considering they went gallivanting across the autumn lands and running away from the vicious wild hunt, I couldn't quite grasp the meaning of the beginning and why Rook dragged her with him.To be honest it seemed as if they were both finding stupid excuses to be in each other's way, also I think that there was an insta-love scheme going on just because "Rook the Gracious Autumn Prince" gave her a glimpse to his bewitchin compassion and she fell head over heels in love with him; subsequently during half of the story she's not even sure about her feelings towards him...
Tut-tut "shakes head while rolling eyes" potential all gone to waste.
