Sorry, I just could not bring myself to finish this book. It just wasn't what I usually read even though it was hilariously funny...

What a huge disappointment this book turned out for me. I absolutely loved the Air Awakens series (and still love it to this day) so I was really excited when I heard that Elise was releasing a new series, but when I read the book, it just didn't work for me. I like that Elise is expanding her creative imagination to further genres and I must say that the woman is pure genius when it comes to fantasy and world-building, however I did not like the depth of the too much description in this novel and so I didn't enjoy it as much as her prior series. Another thing was the journey thing, I dont know what it is with me but I HATE (lots of emphasis here) journies ; for me it just ruins the whole element of the book. Nevertheless the world-building was quite interesting with all its scientific glory and I liked Arianna's kicka$$ sassy attitude.

This piece of shit was absolutely disgusting and a complete waste of my time, it just goes to show how far stupid people would go in their absurd ideals of culture and society...
