I'm so bored 

The real puzzle is figuring out how people are finishing this and loving it. 

Sadly I DNFd this one, but would still recommend it. I went in expecting a creepy, well set thriller and as just met with a ton of dialogue and nothing happening. 

I'll still read from this author though.

Sadly I’m DNFing this one. I didn’t realize this was going to be a coming of age novel with a lot of characters going off on side tangents. I can’t keep any character straight and that means they’re not memorable. 

None of the stories are keeping my attention 

I’m sorry, but I need more than catty friendships in a book I expected dark comedy/thriller aspects in. 

I am in fact, not a sad book girlie. Just a jumble of stream of consciousness of a woman with an eating disorder and mommy issues. 

Too stream of consciousness for me at the moment. 

Try hard writing at its finest 

DNFing solely because the writing plus narration style aren’t working for me. 

Anti-Multilevel marketing podcasts and shows have always interested me so I was excited to pick this one up. Sadly at just 19% in, there’s really not anything new. 

It’s easy to deduce which MLM she was in, but at this point I think I’ll stick to Roberta Blevins and her podcast for anti-MLM content instead of finishing this.
