✓ A novel about two characters with fully developed personalities, dreams, and motivations?
✓ A perfect balance between romance and plot?
✓ A book that made me cry from the sheer joy of it?
✓ A novel that unpacks internalized homophobia, sexism, and racism?
✓ An F/F romance that doesn't involve outing or shaming from anyone? Not even once?
✓ A feminist book that encourages the pursuit of both traditionally masculine and feminine careers as empowering?

If I haven't convinced you to pick this up yet, I don't know what will. Honestly.

Really cute and shockingly not entirely predictable, Prince Charming was a fun, quick read. Still, not very deep or too memorable.

Okay so I've been rereading Percy Jackson this semester (I'm gonna try to get Last Olympian done before the end of the year) and, while the first one really held up for me, 2 and 3 were kind of...let downs? And so I had been worried that the whole series wasn't going to be nostalgic and fun, but instead just disappointing. Thank the gods for The Battle of the Labyrinth, which shot the series back up into iconic.
