But on the flip side I couldn’t put it down so...

1) why, oh why, doesn’t this cover match the others. Is that too much to ask?

2) I am baffled by the amount of times Lu refers to Day and Eden by their full names, middle name included. It was so weird.

3) at first I didn’t think I was going to like this book too much but man, the nostalgia. I still love June and day, but I actually thought the plot was still on par with the other books in the series. Pleasantly surprised

I was extremely pleasantly surprised by how well this translated into a graphic novel. The pacing felt natural, the art was good, I was highly entertained. The reread of PJO continues to impress.

My only gripe is how many of the characters looked so different to how I imagined them (particularly Rachel and Thalia) but that obviously isn’t the artist’s fault.
